Not a lot of movement on the US box office this week as the Wreck-Ir Ralph sequel hangs onto the top spot and The Possession Of Hannah Grace is the top new film at 7.

The Possession Of Hannah Grace

Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2

A second weekend at the top for the Disney movie as it takes $25.7 million for the weekend which brings the film total US gross to $119.2 million.

The Grinch

Still doing well on the US box office as we officially enter the Christmas season, the Dr Seuss movie takes $17.7 million for a $203.5 million total gross.

Creed II

The Rocky universe film drops to number 3 this week with a $16.8 million weekend which takes the films total US gross $81.1 million on its second weekend.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald

Although not doing as well as expected the Wizarding World film hangs onto its place in the top 5 at number 4 this week with $11.2 million boosting its total gross to $134.3 million.

The film is well below the first film take at this point which was running at over $180 million.

Bohemian Rhapsody

Still performing well on the US box office the bio-pic add $8.1 million to its US gross which is now at $164.4 million.

The Possession Of Hannah Grace

With the top five films in the US still performing really well and no big new film the highest new entry comes in down at number 7 with a $6.5 million debut.

This week globally Fantastic Beasts 2 gave a good show on the international scene, especially in countries like China, Japan, Australia and UK to keep it at number one for a second weekend stopping Wreck-It Ralph 2 fro making its debut at the top.

Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald

The Harry Potter prequel sequel manages a second weekend at the top of the global box office with a weekly take of $113 million from a very wide 81 countries.

This brings the film total global gross after 2 weekends of release to $439 million, the film isn't that far behind Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them.

Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2

The new Disney film is only released in 19 countries and hence opens at number 2 this week with a global weekly gross of $97 million.

With the film set top open much wider this coming weekend expect to see the film at the top next week.

Bohemian Rhapsody

Having done amazingly well on the internation market the Queen bio-pic is at number 3 this week with $52 million from 70 countries.

The Grinch

Still performing well is the retelling of the Dr Seuss classic which this week is at 4 with $37 million from 35 countries.

Creed II

Entering at number 5 this week the Creed/Rocky sequel takes $35 million from just 1 location which bodes well for the film going forward.

Disney release their big holiday animation Ralph Breaks The Internet over the American Thanksgiving weekend and along with Creed II also making its debut and strong holdovers it makes for a record weekly take with the top 10 grossing over $200 million.

Creed II

Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2

The latest Disney movie had plenty of hype and hence opens at the top of the US box office with a $55 million 3 day weekend and an $85 million 5 day weekend which includes the Wednesday and Thursday of Thanksgiving

This means that the new Ralph film is running $15 million ahead of its 2012 predecessor over the same period and should end up grossing far more in the long run.

Creed II

The follow up to Creed from 2015 and spiritual follow up to Rocky IV from 1986 the Micheal B. Jordan starring movie opens at number 2 with a $35 million opening 3 days and a $55 million 5 day Thanksgiving.

This is far higher than the original movies opening by $14 million.

The Grinch

The Grinch drops to number 3 this week after 3 weeks of release with a $30 million weekend gross, the film now has a total US gross of $180.5 million.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald

After opening big last weekend the new Fantastic Beasts film runs into trouble this week and falls hard to number 4 with a weekend gross of just $29.6 million which brings the films 10 gross to a relatively poor $117 million.

Bohemian Rhapsody

One film which has done better than expected and this week sits at number 5 is the Queen bio-pic which this week takes $13 million for a $152 million total US gross.

Robin Hood

One film that has not done too well on its debut weekend is the new Robin Hood movie starring Taron Egerton which limps onto the box office chart at number 7 with a poor $9.1 million gross.

Looking like a true sequel to 1986's Rocky IV this sequel to 2016's Creed puts Apollo Creed's Son against Ivan Drago's son.

12A Certificate

For those who don't remember Ivan Drago killed Apollo Creed in the ring before being defeated by Rocky Balboa at the end of the film.

The BBFC have given Creed II a 12A rating for moderate violence, language and the film has a run time of 130 minutes (2hrs 10 Minutes).
