Hitting the top of the box office with ease this weekend is
Paddington in Peru as it powers ahead of the crowd with a £9.6 Million debut weekend.
With the current state of the box office in general and movies available on streaming within months of theatrical releases is nice to see a third movie in a series out preform its predecessor.
Paddington 2 made its debut in 2017 and took just over £8 Million, Paddington from 2014 took just over £5 Million so this is a series high.
Coming in at number 2 this weekend is the Christmas movie Red One from Amazon Studios, once scheduled for a streaming only release the movie lands in the UK with nearly £2.5 Million and hits number 2.
Last weeks top movie, The Wild Robot falls to number 5 this weekend and has a total gross of £12.7 Million after 4 weeks.
