There was little in the was of change at the box US box office this weekend as Angel Has Fallen stay at the top for a second weekend in a very slow Labour Day weekend holiday.
Angel Has Fallen
After a quiet opening weekend last week the threequel movie stays at the top with a gross of just $11.8 Million.
The Gerard Butler and Morgan Freeman starring movie has now taken $40.9 Million after 2 weeks of release, the good news is this is higher that the prequels gross at this point, so maybe a fourth film is on its way?
The comedy movie directed by Gene Stupnitsky stays at number 2 this week with a gross of $9.5 Million taking its total to $56.5 Million after 3 weeks.
The Lion King
Disneys Jon Favreau directed CGI animation is at number 3 this weekend with $6.7 Million pushing its total to $520.9 Million after 7 weeks of release.
Fast & Furious Presents Hobbs And Shaw
At 4 this week is the Fast & Furious franchise movie starring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham which takes $6.3 Million pushing the films total to $157.1 after 5 weeks.
Ready Or Not
Taking $5.8 Million on its second weekend and falling to 5 this action movie directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett has taken $20.3 Million.
