The British fishing based movie Fisherman's Friends makes a good new entry at number 2 but Captain MArvel is too strong on its second weekend of release and remains at the top.

The hit Marvel movie starring Brie Larson remains at the top of the UK box office for a second weekend taking £6.6 million.

This pushed the female led super hero movie to £23.6 million after 10 days in cinemas (including previews).

Fisherman's Friends

The British films directed by Chris Foggin enters the box office at number 2 this week with a debut gross of £1.2 million.

The film has got very good reviews across the board which could hold the film in good sted and see it a staple of the box office for the coming weeks.

What Men Want

The mind reading comedy starring Taraji P. Henson and Tracy Morgan enters the UK box office this week at 3 with a gross of £836,612.

The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part

Falling to number 4 this week the second brick movie takes £643,623 on its fourth weekend of release.

The film is taking a long slide down the chart and considering how its total gross of £17.5 million is far lower than the first film this will work in its favour.

Fighting With My Family

Falling to number 5 this week is the Stephen Merchant directorial debut which has done quite well for itself and this weekend takes £632,598.

This pushes the films total UK gross to £4.6 million.

It's interesting how Quentin Tarantino has become such an important director in Hollywood they actually class his films as the x film from him.

Luckily he as a director he just about lives up to the hype and has produced some of the greatest films in modern Hollywood history.

Which ironically enough is what his new film, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood is all about, 2 washed up stars trying to make a name for themselves in the famed city.

The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie as well as Luke Perry who died recently from a heart attack.

For a second weekend Marvels Captain Marvel is the top film on the box office with animated feature Wonder Park the highest new film of the week.

The Marvel female led superhero movie does the double this week with a second weekend gross of $69.3 million keeping at the top of the box office.

This brings the films Brie Larson starring movie's total US gross to $266.2 million.

Highest new film of the week is the animated feature Wonder Park directed by Josh Appelbaum, Andre Nemec and Robert Gordonwhich which enters at number 2 with a debut gross of $16 million.

Five Feet Apart

Also new this week is this drama from director Justin Baldoni which makes its debut at number 3 with $13.2 million over the weekend.

How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World

Still in the top 5 at number 4 this week the dragon threequel takes $9.3 million to boost its gross to $135.6 million.

A Madea Family Funeral

Rounding out the top 5 is Tyler Perrys hit comedy with his most popular creation Medea which takes $8 million this weekend boosting its total gross to $59 million.

This week across the movie watching world Captain Marvel continued to dominate the box office with Wonder Park making the highest new entry of the week.

This brings the films total global gross to $760.2 million after 10 days of release (not including previews).

More Than Blue

The Chinese film moves up to number 2 this week with a weekend gross of $41.2 million from just 3 countries which brings its total global gross to $57.7 million.

Wonder Park

The animated feature if the highest new film of of the week at number 3 with a debut gross of $20.3 million from 20 countries.

How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World

Taking $18.7 million from 67 countries the threequel dragon movie is at 4 this week and has a total global gross of $466.5 million.

Green Book

This Oscar winning movie continues its global run and this week is in 68 countries and takes $18.3 million which brings the films total gross to $274.6 million.

15th March 2019

Continuing the long run of Disney animations getting live action remakes is Dumbo which is directed by Tim Burton and stars Eva Green and Michael Keaton.

PG Certificate

The film is released on 29th March 2019 in the UK and is given a PG rating in the UK by the BBFC.

The rating was given for mild threat, brief violence.
