The superhero mash up took $52 million during its second weekend of release to bring its total to $261 million, not a bad total but it won't be going anywhere near the Marvel super hero films.
Highest new film of the week is Gods Not Dead 2, a sequel to the 2014 film which was a bit of a suprise hit, although this sequel will not gross naywhere near the originals total.
Top total grossing film on the US box office this week is Deadpool which after 8 weeks of release has now grossed $355 million.
