Wicked tops the North American box office on its debut weekend release with a gross of $112 Million.

The stage show adaptation has been strong word of mouth and is set to be the holiday favourite movie of 2024.

Released the same day and hoping to ride the wave of hype is the sequel movie Gladiator II.

Take a very respectable $55 Million over the weekend the movie enters the box office chart at number 2.
