Coming 24 years after the original
Gladiator the sequel lands at the top of the UK box office this weekend with a debut gross of £9 Million.
Compared to the original movie this is nearly £3 Million higher as that movie took £6.3 Million (adjusted for inflation) £3.5 Million actual.
Last weekend Paddington In Peru was the top new movie at number 1 and after a week the movie falls to number 2 with a total gross of £18 Million.
This is most likely not the last we hear from the Paddington movie and a move back to the top would not be a surprise, although with Wicked out this weekend who knows!
