Also new this weekend is The Machine~2023 at 6, About My Father at number 7, Kandahar at number 9, Rohan Kishibe Goes to the Louvre at 10 and finally The Roundup: No Way Out on preview release enters at number 12.

The video game based movie climbs back up the global box office one place with the movie showing in 62 countries it takes $9.8 Million over the weekend, a 32% drop.
The movie, which is not the highest grossing video game adapted movie of all time, has taken an amazing $362.8 Million over 7 weeks of release.
Another big fall for the third Fantastic Beasts movie which drop 57% over last weekend from a huge 75 countries.
The weekend gross of the film is $6.3 Million giving it a total global gross of $376 Million.
Highest new entry of the weekend comes in at number 5 as the (pointless!) remake of the 1984 movie Firestarter makes its debut with $5.8 Million from 41 countries.
As the movie goes wide into 54 counties including North America Sonic the Hedgehog 2 easily tops the global box office on its second weekend of release.
Top new movie of the weekend is Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore which gets released in 22 countries, but has to wait until this weekend coming for its North American debut.
Also entering the global box office at number 10 is French movie Qu'est-ce Qu'on a Tous Fait Au Bon Dieu? (Serial (Bad) Weddings 3) which takes $5.7 Million from its single country release.

After being beaten by Morbius last weekend the speedy blue video game hedgehog jump to the top of the global box office with ease this weekend having extended its country count to 54.
The movie takes $108 Million, a 76% increase, over the weekend pushing its total global gross to $141 Million after 2 weeks of release, it is the 9th top movie of 2022.
Getting a release in 22 countries the third in the Fantastic Beasts series of movies makes its debut at number 2 this weekend getting a release in 22 countries.
The movie takes a reasonable $58 Million on its debut, but with a release in countries like North America next weekend expect this to more than double and the movie to take over at the top.
Falling hard to number 3 this weekend is the Marvel/Sony vampire movie starring Jared Leto which takes $25.2 Million over the weekend, a hard 70% drop over last weekend.
This puts the movie total global gross at $126 Million after 2 weeks of release, this must be seen as a big disappointment for Sony, especially after the mega success of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Falling to number 4 on its 6th weekend of release the Caped Crusader takes $13 Million, a 46% drop over last weekend, the movie has taken a total of $735 Million.
The movie will fail to make $1 Billion, not too much of a surprise considering there is still a pandemic gripping the world and the Cinese release was far less than expected, but the movie is the top film of 2022 across the globe, so far!
The Michael Bay movie jumps to number 5 this weekend, from number 9, with $11.5 Million, a 75% increase over last weekend as the movie expands into 69 countries, this takes its total gross to $31 Million after 4 weeks of release.
It was the Chinese new year this last weekend and the global box office saw a wave of the hits with the sequel to 2021's The Battle At Lake Changjin, The Battle At Lake Changjin II topping the list.
Also worthy of a comment is that the whole top 5 this week are new entries which meant that Spider-Man: No Way Home gets pushed down to number 6 on its 8th weekend of release.

The Chinese only release of The Battle At Lake Changjin was the top grossing movie of 2021 when it was released in early October, that was until Spider-Man: No Way Home came in and spoiled the party.
The sequel gets its release this weekend in just 2 countries and knocks the Spider-man movie from the top with a debut weekend of $153.4 Million, although this is lower than the $232 Million debut of the previous movie.
The future looks good for the film and with the longevity the previous movie had this could be around for a number of weeks to come.

What is reported to be the last movie, maybe because of the age of the principle cast, the movie makes its debut with $28.7 Million from just 10 countries.
Sequel movie Venom: Let There Be Carnage expands its country count and goes to the top of the global box office on its 3rd weekend of release.

The 25th Bond movie falls to number 2 on its third weekend of release with a gross of $78.2 Million, a rather large 46% drop over last weekend.
The movie has now made a quite impressive $447.8 Million, it will go over the magic milestone of half a million by next weekend, but already the movie is the 5th top movie of 2021.
The Chinese smash hit movie falls to number 3 this weekend with a gross of $71.8 Million still from a single country of release, this is a very good 34% drop over last weekend.
