It was a two way fight for the top of the UK box office this weekend with the Amy Winehouse bio-pic winning with a debut gross of £2.7 Million.
The movie is directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson and is her top grossing debut movie in the UK outside of Fifty Shades of Grey which took £13.5 Million on its debut.
Coming in at number 2 is the new movie from Alex Garland, Civil War come in with a debut gross of £1.8 Million.
Last weeks top movie, Kung-Fu Panda 4 slides to number 3 this weekend after 2 weeks at the top and has taken a great £17.2 Million in total.

Director Denis Villeneuve brings his second part of the Dune~2020 story to the big screen, and unlike the forst part this movie doesn't have to deal with a pandemic and opens to just over £9 Million.
The original movie which was delayed until 2021 took £5.8 Million on its debut, at the time this was good for a movie after all the COVID19 cinema closures.
Last weeks top movie, Bob Marley: One Love, falls to second place this week after 2 weekends at the top, the movie has taken an excellent £4,2 Million in total box office grosses.
Madame Web hangs on for another weekend on the top 5 bit with a total gross of only £3.9 Million it will be one of the lowest grossing superhero movie in the modern era.

The biopic Bob Marley: One Love remains at the top of the US box office for a second weekend with a gross fo $13 Million which gives the movies total gross a boost to just voer $71 Million.
Highest new entry this weekend is the Japanese animated movie Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba - to the Hashira Training which comes in at number 2 with a debut gross of $11.5 Million.
Also new this weekend coming in at number 3 is Ordinary Angels which has a debut gross of $6.5 Million.
