The BBFC gives Sam Mendes new World War 1 movie 1917 a 15 age rating in the UK.
Starring George MacKay and Dean-Charles Chapman the movie centres around two soldiers who are sent on a dangerous mission to go across enemy territory to deliver a message which could save hundreds of men, including one of the soldiers brother.
The film is being largely favoured as the filming style in of a single shot so there are no apparent cuts in the movie and it plays out in real time.
The BBFC have given the film its 15 age rating for strong injury detail, language and it has an official runtime of 119 minutes (1 hours and 59 minutes) and the movie was passed uncut.
