Sequel movie Dune: Part Two has no problem makings its debut at the top of the North American box office this weekend as it smashes its way in with a debut gross of $82.5 Million.

The first movie in the series was released during the closures of the COVID19 pandemic, and although had a theatrical release its $40.1 Million debut in October of 2021 was reflective of the times.

Last weeks top movie, Bob Marley: One Love, falls to number 2 this weekend after a couple of weekends at the top, but has still taken over $82 Million on its 3 weeks of release.

Finishing off the fourth season on smash hit TV show The Chosen, The Chosen: Season 4 Episodes 7-8 is a new entry at number 3 this weekend with $4 Million.

Madame Web Clings onto the a top 5 position for another weekend but with the film only having made $40.4 Million after 3 weeks Sony will be looking at this movie as its biggest disaster for a Spider-Man related movie to date.

    Taylor Swift dominated the UK box office this weekend with the cinematic version of her The Eras Tour, and broke the event cinema record in the process.

    The movie took an incredible £5.7 Million which smashes the £5.5 Million total by Prima Facie: NT Live 2022 from last year which starred Jodie Comer.

    It was never going to challenge the superstar Taylor Swift for the top spot but hats off to PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie for daring to release the same weekend, the movie comes in at number 2 this weekend.

    Last weeks top movie, The Exorcist: Believer, stood no chance of holding the top spot and this weekend falls to number 3 after a single week at the top.
