The movie has been a long time coming and been delayed a few times, but the world premiere of the new Bond movie No Time To Die will take place at the Royal Alber Hall on September 28th 2021.

As the tweet from the official 007 account explains the producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli will be there along with the movies director and star Cary Joji Fukunaga and Daniel Craig.

The movie reportedly had a trouble production with the director and star falling out and then the global pandemic hit which has caused the movie to be delayed a few time, the movie will get a release on September 30th in the UK and October 8th in America.

This is the last movie to feature Daniel Craig as Bond, who has by all accounts been one of the more popular Bonds, a new actor to fill the role has yet to be announced, expect this to happen next year once the hype for this movie has died down.

Expectation for the movie are high, especially after the success of Skyfall and Spectre and although all things on the Bond front have been quiet for a bit the new release is looking very likely with the pandemic seemingly under control, so expect the hype to start ramping up now.

The new Bond movie No Time To Die has been hanging on to its November release date since it originally got delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic but today it gives in and the release date moves to April 2nd 2021.

Universal, the distribution company for the Bond series released this statement: - "MGM, Universal and Bond producers, Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, today announced the release of No Time To Die, the 25th film in the James Bond series, will be delayed until 2nd April in order to be seen by a worldwide theatrical audience, we understand the delay will be disappointing to our fans but we now look forward to sharing No Time To Die next year."

This is the latest of the big end of year movies to get moved to 2021 and with only a few left including Wonder Woman 1984 and Death On The Nile this is leaving 2020 very empty.

With cinemas struggling to reopen safely and attendance in those that have opened struggling even with only 25 - 50% capacity as evident with Tenet's poor box office figures it is no wonder the movie has been delayed.

Film distributers are starting to realise that 2020 is now basically a write off, but this is clearly having an effect on cinema chains that are struggling to stay in business.

The music video for the theme song by Billie Eillish was only released yesterday so this is perhaps strange timing, although the press for this movie is all over the place as the song hit number 1 on the music chart back in February, a couple of months before the original release date!

This is Daniel Craigs reported last outing as Bond but he's perhaps going to have to hang on a little longer for all the press junkets that will happen in March/April next year.

The production of No Time To Die, and its release date, has had a troubled time, but few could have predicted the outbreak of the Coronavirus, or COVID-19 as it is called, to delay the film even further.

Today producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson have announced that the film will be delayed until November with a UK release on 12th November 2020 and US release on 25th November 2020.

The film has had many delays with the first release date when the film was going to be directed by Danny Boyle being November 2019, then when he left the project it was moved to early 2020 and then yet again it was delayed until April 2020 to give the production more time.

Lets hope that the virus is under control ASAP and that there will be no more delays in the release of the movie.

Bond movies in recent years are more comfortable in the holiday period and a Christmas release may well benefit the film.

The producers of the Bond series have announced that the new Bond film, Bond 25, will get a title reveal tomorrow April 25th at an iconic Bond location.

This will presumably be the 007 stage at Pinewood studios in Ivor, near London England.

The title of the film will be revealed, although Barbara Broccoli has said it wont be the rumoured Shatterhand.

There is every possibility there will also be a poster reveal as well, although this will likely be Daniel Craig posing with a gun in a tuxedo, or some variant of that theme.

See you back here tomorrow at 1:10 GMT/5:10 PST for the event.

**UPDATE** During the web cast which was broadcast from Bond creator Ian Flemming's house Goldeneye in Jamaica, nothing of note was revealed other than the cast and who is writing the script, the good news there is as rumoured its Phoebe Waller-Bridge of TV's Fleabag fame which will bring a good level of humour to the film, something lacking in recent instalments.

Also of note is the inclusion of recent Oscar winner Rami Malek to the cast who will play the lead villain.
