The animated sequel movie Sing 2 remained at the top of the UK cinema box office charts for a second weekend while the stunt spectacular Jackass Forever was the top new movie at number 2.
Moonfall came in at number 3 this weekend while Japanese animated hit Belle: The Dragon and the Freckled Princess was a new entry at number 9 with £152,287 on limited release in 147 screens.
Outside the top 10 The Souvenir: Part II from director Joanna Hogg was new at 11 with £93,044 from just 94 screen.

UK box office top 5 weekend breakdown 4th - 6th February 2022
The animated sequel movie from director Garth Jennings spends a second weekend at the top of the UK box office with a fantastic £5.1 Million weekend gross, a very slim 25% decline for the movie on its second weekend of release.
This gives it a total UK gross of £12.9 Million making it the top movie released in 2022 and the second top movie of 2022 behind Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Its been 12 years since Jackass 3D was in our local multiplexes and the crew from the TV show Jackass are back for one last outing of crazy stunts and hidden camera hi-jinx.
The movie lands at number 2 in the UK with a weekend gross of £2 Million which is probably higher than expected, and it becomes the 10th top movie of 2022 in the process.
The Kenneth Branagh directed movie falls one place to number 3 this weekend with &poind;1.47 Million, a slender 22% drop over last weekend.
This gives it a total UK gross of £8.9 Million in the UK making it the 3rd top movie of 2022.
After picking up 7 Oscar nominations this week it could mean a good future projection for the movie, and although it might not expect to get many, if any, this will see it hand around until at least the ceremony takes place on March 27th.
Much hyped but seemingly ignored by audiences after a bit of a critical panning, the latest movie from director Roland Emmerich lands on the box office with £1.16 Million this weekend.
Falling to number 5 this weekend after 8 weeks on the box office, the Marvel/Sony movie takes £1.15 Million, a low 35% drop from last weekend, which is incredible considering the movie has been around a couple of months.
Having now taken £91.7 Million in the UK it is the top film of 2022 with £22 Million and it will likely take over Avatar by next weekend as the 5th top movie ever in the UK.

movie makes its debut at the top knocking Spider-Man: No Way Home down to number 2.Also new this week is Belle: The Dragon and the Freckled Princess which enters the box office at number 6 with a $1.6 Million debut weekend.

North American weekend box office top 5 breakdown 14th - 16th January 2022
Back for a 5th movie in the series, and this time once again just called Scream the long running franchise re-unites all the primary cast from the 1996 original.
The movie makes its debut at the top of the US box office with a gross of $30.6 Million making it the second highest grossing movie of 2022.
Falling to number 2 this weekend after a 4 week spell at the top is the Marvel/Sony MCU movie which takes $20.8 Million this weekend, a 37% drop over last week.
This gives the movie a total US gross of $698.7 Million, it is the top movie so far in 2022 with $88.8 Million and is also the 6th top grossing movie of all time in North America.
The animated sequel falls to number 3 this weekend after three weeks at number 2 with a weekend gross of $8.2 Million, a 31% drop over last weekend.
The Garth Jennings directed movie has now taken $119.3 Million in North America and with $29.6 Million in 2022 is the 3rd top movie of the year.
The action movie starring Diane Kruger and Penelope Cruz falls to number 4 this week with $2.3 Million, a hefty 51% drop over its debut last weekend, giving the movie a $8.4 Million total and the 5th top movie of 2022.
Four weeks on and the prequel movie falls to number 5 with $2.3 Million, a 39% drop, pushing its gross to $28.6 Million and the 4th top movie of 2022 with $9.1 Million.
