The success of The Hunger Games series of movie sparked of a passion for more in the series from its fans and The Hunger Games: The Ballad Of Songbirds And Snakes, the first in a prequel series has been given a 12A age rating in the UK for moderate violence, threat, drug misuse.
A new cast is featured in the prequel movie which is headed up by Rachel Zegler who has previously appeared in Shazam Fury of the Gods and West Side Story~2020 and is set to star in the upcoming Snow White~2024 live action remake, it also stars Hunter Schafer who has previously lent his voice to Belle The Dragon and the Freckled Princess.
The movie is directed by Francis Lawrence who is no stranger to the series as he directed The Hunger Games Catching Fire, The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1 and The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2

The period piece is based on the book of the same name and takes place in 14th Century France where a women accuses her husbands best friend of rape.
Unable to do anything legally, he challenges the friend to a duel, it is known as the last known duel to take place.
