This week on DVD and Blu-ray the Ben Stiller starring franchise film Night At The Museum Secret of The Tomb makes it's debut of the top selling film of the week.

The film was released on the 19th December 2014 and made it's debut at number 3 in a busy week of the christmas period, it was on the chart for a total of 7 weeks.

During it's theatrical run in the UK it took £11 million in box office takings which is below either of it's predecessors in the series.

The film did however do well overseas and is the 243rd highest grossing film ever worldwide.

Last weeks top film, Paddington, which went back to the top for a week falls to number 2 this week.

Other new films on the video chart this week are: What We Do In The Shadows which is new at 6, Black Sea which is new at 10 and The Signal which is new at number 12.

Paddington stays at the top of the UK box office for a second week leaving The Hunger Games in it's wake and leaving the highest new film to come in at three.

The children's favourite, which has had decent reviews, retains it's lead at the top with a second weekend of nearly £4 million, which brings it's 10 day gross to £10.3 million.

Staying at two is The Hunger Games, Mockingjay Part 1 now with a £25.2 million total gross.

Highest new film of the weekend is Penguins of Madagascar, entering at three with £1.6 million, the Madagascar spinoff film should hang around for the holidays to improve on it's gross.

Other new films this week: Get Santa at 7, St Vincent at 9, Black Sea at 10, The Pyramid at 11 and Men Women and Children at 14.
