The end of the Skywalker saga remains at the top as the best selling video and top streaming movie of the week on its second week of release.

Jumanji: The Next Level

The Dwayne Johnson starring sequel remains at number 2 for a second week on its 4th week of release in the UK.

Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)

Top new movie of the week on on the home entertainment chart is the Margot Robbie vehicle and spiritual successor to Suicide Squad.

The movie hit cinemas early in February of 2020 where it made its debut at number 2, kept from the top by Dolittle.

The movie took £8.8 Million in the UK over a 5 week box office run while the film took $201.8 Million globally.

Spies In Disguise

Starring the voice talents of Will Smith and Tom Holland this animated feature released at the very end of December 2019 made its debut at number 6 on the UK box office.

The movie was on the box office for 7 weeks taking £7.6 Million in the UK while the film took £66.7 Million in the US.

Frozen II

The Disney sequel continues its home video run inside the top 5 this week, sitting at number 5 after 6 weeks of release.

With the lockdown still effecting the UK and keeping cinemas closed the home video industry is doing very well and this week the release of Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker makes a big impact at the top.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

The last movie in the Skywalker sage and presented by Lucasfilms and Disney was a controversial movie on its release in December of 2019.

The film did well at the box office in the UK taking £58.2 Million over a 7 week period, the lowest of the Disney produced sequels.

The film hits the home entertainment market last week and took over the top slot.

Jumanji: The Next Level

After taking over a the top last week the Dwayne Johnson starring Fantasy/Comedy movie falls to number 2 on its 3rd week.

Sonic the Hedgehog

The highest new film last week and the speedy blue hedgehog remains in the same place at number 3 this week.

Frozen II

Still doing well on the home entertainment front but the Disney sequel movie falls to number 4 this week on its 5th week of release.

Blue Story

An independent movie directed by Andrew Onwubolu and released in November of 2019 this was a sizeable hit at the box office making its debut at number 3 and going on to take £4.5 Million over 6 weeks.

The movie makes its home entertainment debut at number 5 this week.

The movie now has a UK total gross of £33.6 Million and is well ahead of the previous movie and is currently the 8th highest grossing movie of 2019.

Knives Out

The murder mystery movie directed by Rian Johnson remains at number 2 for a second weekend with a gross of £1.6 Million which brings the films total UK gross to £6 Million after 2 weeks.

Last Christmas

Proving to be a proper holiday hit the Paul Feig directed movie remains at number 3 this week with a gross of £1.3 Million.

This brings the movies total UK gross to £12.4 Million after 4 weeks of release.

Les Mis�rables: The Staged Concert

Highest new entry of the weekend comes from a live broadcast of the hit musical starring the likes of Michael Ball and Alfie Boe which grosses £946,785 over the weekend.

The controversial movie takes £378,589 this weekend as it slips to number 5 with a total gross of £3.6 Million after 3 weeks.

Joker

The hit movie is the longerst running film on the box office this week with 8 weeks and is the highest total gross movie with £57.4 Million.

With little competition Frozen II hangs on to the top spot for a second weekend while Knives Out makes its debut on the chart at 2 and lower down the re-boot of Charlies Angels makes its debit on the top 5.

Disney's sequel movie holds onto the top spot for a second weekend with a gross of an amazing £8.7 Million.

With an incredible second weekend this puts the films total UK gross to £27.3 Million, and with the UK Christmas holidays just around the corner this will go up considerably.

The movie managed to command 53% of the total taking of this weeks top 15 movie.

The film is beating the first movies gross at the same stage by some considerable amount, it is already the 9th highest grossing movie of 2019 and will go on to be one of the top 10 grossing movies ever in the UK.

Knives Out

Rian Johnsons first film since Star Wars: The Last Jedi has been met with glowing reviews and is the tip grossing movie of the week with a debut of £2.9 Million.

With such good reviews the film could hang around quite a while, an achievement for a low budget movie.

Last Christmas

Paul Feig's festive movie falls to 3 this weekend with a gross of £1.6 Million, the films has taken £9.9 Million after 3 weeks of release.

Blue Story

The film has been hit with much controversy with some cinema chains refusing to show the movie but the directorial debut from Andrew Onwubolu falls to 4 this week with £850,427 for a 2 week total of £2.9 Million.

Charlie's Angels

The Elizabeth Banks directed reboot of the '70's TV cop show makes its UK box office debut at number with a weekend gross os £547,004.

The movie has picked up some very positive reviews and its a surprise the film only entered at 5, the chances are the film wont get any higher and has been a flop around the globe so a sequel is looking unlikely.

Joker

The Joaquin Phoenix starring movie has the longest run on the UK box office with 9 weeks and is also the highest totla grossing film with £57.4 Million.
