Running away with the summer box office Guardians of the Galaxy stays on top for another week and becomes the highest grossing film of 2014 in America.

A second week in it's second spell at he top and a $16.3 million gross for the weekend Guardians has now taken $274.6 million nudging it ahead of Transformers: Age of Extinction.

Staying in second place and doing well is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, highest new film of the week is As Above, So Below, based in Paris it's a found footage survival horror film, it takes $8.3 million over the weekend.
