Black Panther turned up in Captain America: Civil War as one of the support characters and is seen here in his first stand alone film.
The BBFC have given the film a 12A certificate for moderate violence, injury detail, rude gesture.

Second week of release for the Guardians of The Galaxy Vol 2 keeps it at the top with A Dogs Purpose coming in at 2 as the highest new film.
With a 50%+ drop in its weekend gross Guardians this week takes £6 million in its box office takings.
This takes the Chris Pratt starring movie to £27.4 million after 10 days of release, the film is current doing almost double the business of the original Guardians movie at this point.
Highest new film of the week is a little known comedy film called A Dogs Purpose, starring Dennis Quaid and directed by Lasse Hallstrom.
It was a US hit a month or so back and after taking £1.3 million on its debut is set to become a hit on this side of the Atlantic as well.
Also new this week is Sleepless at number 6, MIndhorn at number 8 and Unlocked at number 10, a low grossing top 10 this week means all these film took less than half a million on their debut.
This weeks longest stay on the chart is Get Out which has been around for 8 week while top new film is once again Beauty and The Beast which has now taken £71 million and is the 8th top film ever in the UK.

The Marvel unsung heroes (outside of Deadpool) have gained a massive following since the release of the first film and the inevitable sequel was always going to be a massive blockbuster.
Landing at the top of this weeks UK box office Guardians of The Galaxy Vol 2 takes a fantastic £13 million making it the 41 highest debut ever, behind The Inbetweeners Movie and head of The Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers.
The original Guardians of The Galaxy opened to £6.3 million in 2014, good for an untried new franchise, this film had bigger hype and has gained a loyal following and more than doubles the debut gross.
With favourable reviews and stars Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana at the top of their games, and with the best hero at the cinema in Baby Groot were looking at a £40 - £50 million total gross.
Falling from the top after 2 weeks if Fast and Furious 8, a £1.7 million 3rd weekend means that the film has now taken £26 million, it will struggle now to catch up with Fast and Furious 7.
Also new this week is Baahubali 2 The Conclusion at number 6 with £0.4 million, The Promise at number 9 with £178,000 and Lady McBeth at number 10 with £174,000.
Sing re-entered the chart this week and at 9 weeks is the longest running film while Beauty and The Beast is the highest total grossing movie with £70 million, its the 8th UK top film ever.

Summing up the top grossing movies of 2016 brings up some interesting data as the top film of the year is a film from 2015, and a huge film of 2016 at that.
Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens despite being released at the very end of 2015 took £57 million in 2016 and thus becomes the highest grossing film of the year.
The long awaited Star Wars saga sequel also took £65 million in 2015 and was the second highest grossing film last year and is also the highest grossing film ever in the UK.
Taking The Force Awakens out of the equation for a moment the highest grossing film of the year, films that were released in 2016, is Bridget Jones's Baby.
The return of Bridget Jones to our cinemas struck a good note with a British audience to the tune of £47.8 million, although its still £10 million below The Force Awakens.
Next is Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them which has taken £47.4 million and with the film still in the UK top 10 I would guess this will overtake Bridget Jones in the new year.
Next up is the Disney live action version of The Jungle Book which has a Uk gross of £46 million, we then have Finding Dory with £42 million and Deadpool with £37 million.
Of the top 10 of 2016 5 of the films are Disney movies or franchises - Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has just crept into the top 10 after 2 weeks of release.
Seven of the film are franchise films and 2 of the top 5 and film which are considered British although 4 of the film were made in the UK.

As the year comes to a close its time to reflect on the films that hit the big time in 2016 - so what were the highest grossing film at the global box office?
The top grossing film across the globe in 2016 is Captain America: Civil War - this surprised me a bit but is testament on how well established the Marvel Cinematic Universe is now.
The third in the Captain America series - although some might say it is more an Avengers movie that Captain America Movie - took $1.5 billion at the global box office.
Compared to 2015 this is far lower than Jurassic World which took $1.6 billion but is on par with the number 2 film Fast and Furious 7 with took $1.5 billion (for the record Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens took more but much of that was in 2016). Finding Dory is the second highest grossing film of 2016 with $1.027 billion while not very far behind it is Zootopia (Zootropolis) which took $1.026 billion.
Rounding out the top 5 is The Jungle Book and The Secret Life of Pets wich both took a shade under a billion each.
The top 2 films were both sequels and 6 of the top 10 films were either sequels or part of an already established franchise, and Deadpool at 7 although not part of a franchise is certainly part of the Marvel Superhero world.
Disney did very well this year with the top 4 film all being from the studio and it wouldn't surprise me if Rogue One: A Star Wars Story ended up in the top five film by the time it ends its run.
