The movie is the 6th movie in the franchise which started with Predator in 1987.
Last weeks top movie, Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc, falls to number 3 this weekend after a 8 weeks run and is still released in 75 countries.
The movie has taken an excellent $158 Million to date.

The movie stars Djimon Hounsou who has previously starred in the DC Comics movie Aquaman and will star in the upcoming Zack Snyder movie Rebel Moon, it also stars Orlando Bloom who has starred in film such as Elizabethtown from 2005 and Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Mans Chest.
It is directed by Neill Blomkamp who has directed classics like Elysium and Demonic from 2021.

After a massive opening weekend the Top Gun sequel was going to stay at the top of the US box office for a second weekend, and it does it in style dropping only 32% from last weekend for a weekend gross of $86 Million.
The movie is proving to be a megga success for Paramount studios, which will make them wonder why they waited 36 years to pruduce a sequel, but perhaps thats why its proving to be a hit, the movie has been getting phenomenal reviews and great word of mouth as not being a formulaic summer blockbuster.
The total gross for the movie is now $291.6 Million after 10 days in cinemas which makes it the 3rd top movie of 2022.
The MCU sequel movie remains at number 2 this weekend with $9.2 Million on its 5th weekend of release, a 42% drop over last weekend.

The animated movie remains at number 3 this weekend with $4.5 Million, a large drop of 65% over its debut weekend last week.
The movie has now taken a US total of $22,2 Million, and with the American school holidays about to start this could be a top 5 mainstay for a few weeks to come.
The animated smash hit movie climbs back up to 4 this weekend with a gross of $3.3 Million, a small 24% drop over last week giving the movie a total of $87.2 Million after 7 weeks of release.
Dropping to number 5 is the British high class movie which takes $3 Million on its 3rd weekend of release, a 48% drop, giving the movie a total US gross of $35.7 Million.

This puts the Jim Carrey starring movie's total gross at $106.6 Million and the film has managed to pass one milestone by passing the $100 Million mark.
This is incidentally the biggest film Starring Jim Carrey in 10 years and at the current rate could be his biggest film since Bruce Almighty from 2003.
Harrison Ford follows up his return to the Galaxy Far Far Away with this more grounded movie which just misses out on the top spot.
The movie is the top new film of the week and takes $24.8 Million over the weekend.
The Margo Robbie starring Harley Quinn movie falls to number 3 this week with a weekend gross of just $7 Million.
This puts the film total gross to a fairly disappointing $72.5 Million after 3 weeks of release, it will end up one of the lowest grossing DC Universe movies.
Entering the box office at number 4 is this horror movie starring Katie Holmes which taked $5.9 Million on its debut.
Finally halling to number 5 this week with the Bad Boys reunion which takes $5.8 Million for a 6 week gross of $191.1 Million.
The movie should pass the $200 Million mark by next weekend.
