The first Sonic movie was released in February 2020 and was one of the last blockbusters released in 2020 before the pandemic shit movie theatres down.
It featured Jim Carrey as the villain Dr. Ivo Robotnik and went on to gross over $300 Million globally.
The hidden clue on the logo to suggest that Sonics friend Miles "Tails" Prower will feature, look at the 2, there are a couple of tails wagging.
Miles "Tails" Prower is Sonics best friend and is a fox with 2 tails that first appeared in the second Sonic game on the Sega Mega Drive, and all subsequent games.
The movie currently has a release date of April 8th 2022.
Over 30 years have passed since the original Top Gun and today we get the first trailer for the follow up Top Gun Maverick.
Tom Cruise features heavily in the trailer although most of the time he is piloting an aircraft, on the few occasions we do see his character Maverick you can see every one of the 30 plus years since the original.
The trailer is very somber but we get no big clue as to the story other than Maverick is getting too old.
It looks like Maverick is still struggling to get over the death of his best friend Goose and if leaked story clues are to be believed he is training Gooses son to be a pilot who we saw briefly in the original Top Gun and we see Miles Teller in the trailer as the grown up version.
There are some nice nods to the original film but outside of Cruise it's still unclear who else will return other than Val Kilmer as Iceman.
Check out the trailer below, but we do still have a full year before release.

The first poster hit last week for Oblivion which was a great looking one sheeter and got us intrigued for this new Tom Cruise film, now the first trailer hits and gives us some clue to the story and tone of the film.
This is Cruise back in sci-fi territory for the first time since he was directed by Steven Spielberg in War of the Worlds back in 2005.
Take a look at the trailer below, it looks like Cruise will be in full action mode for 2013, starting with Jack Reacher out soon (actually just about has a 2012 release date of 26th December) and Oblivion released April 12th 2013.
