$38.8 MillionDisney bring us an origins movie which is a spin off from their successful 1990's 101 Dalmatians movie. The story is based on villanous Cruella De Vil and shows how the fashion designer got obsessed with black and white spots.
The movie stars among other Emma Stone, Emma Thompson and Mark Strong.

Set in 1970s in London during the punk rock movement, the film follows Estella de Vil, an aspiring fashion designer, and explores the path that will lead her to become a notorious criminal known as Cruella de Vil.

After 3 weeks of Batman V Superman Dawn of justice at the top of the video charts sequel movie The Huntsman Winters War takes over on its debut week of release.
Released on 8th April 2016 the sequel to Snow White and The Huntsman from 2012 landed on the chart at the top, but it didn't last much after that! A 3 week run saw it disappear quickly from the box office top 10, although it did hang around cinemas for another 6 weeks after that.
The films total gross was £5.2 million , 10 million below that of its predecessor.
Batman V Superman falls from the top into 3rd place this week but is still selling in good number.
Also new on the home video charts this week is Eye in The Sky number 2 and Criminal at number 7.
This week sees the release of Disney's massive hit The Jungle Book which should swing into the top of the home video charts.
This week on the world box office the live action version of The Jungle Book retains its place at the top amid little competition, the film is out in 54 countries.
The Disney movie has taken $153 million this week across the globe which brings its world gross to and incredible $528.4 million.
In anticipation of a major new release this week there were no new releases on the world box office this week.
Highest total grossing move on release across the globe this week is Zootopia which has now passed the $900 million mark with $907.1 million, a billion is not far away now.
