$0Blade Runner 2049 might not have set the box office on fire when it was released 3 weeks ago but it has managed something not many film do and go back to the top of the chart after being knocked off.
It was a relatively quiet weekend at UK cinemas and the Blade runner sequel took £1.8 million to go back on top, nearly 50% down on last weekend.
This means the film has now managed £12.7 million on its UK run, its hard to put this in context of the original movie which 3 weeks in had made £0.8 million.
If take inflated ticket prices into play then the original would have made £4.3 million at this stage so the sequel is over £10 million ahead.
Highest new film of the week, and despite the appalling reviews, is Geostorm starring Gerard Butler, which enters at number 2 with £1.6 million.
The weather disaster movie is a typical summer blockbuster movie so being released so late in the year probably meant the studio had little faith in the film.
Last weeks top film, The Lego Ninjago Movie, falls to number 3 this week with £1.3 million and a total gross so far of £5.5 million.
We have a change of longest running and top total grossing film this week with IT being around for 7 weeks and grossed a total of £32 million.

A year ago - Animated film Trolls took over at the top from The Girl On The Train which fell to number 3 after 2 weeks on top.
Five years ago - Madagascar 3: Europes Most Wanted was the top new film of the week entering the box office at number 1 while Taken 2 fell to number 3 after 2 weeks on top.
Ten years ago - Ratatouille spent a second weekend at the top while the top new film of the week was Stardust starring Claire Danes and Michelle Pfeiffer.
Fifteen years ago - Vin Diesel starred in XXX which was the top new film of the week at number 1 while Lilo and Stitch fell to number 2 after 2 weeks at the top.
Twenty years ago - Hercules spent its second weekend at the top while top new film was Shooting Fist at number 2.
Twenty five years ago - The animated Beauty and The Beast spent its second weekend on top while top new film Strictly Ballroom entered at number 2.
On the UK video charts the sequel movie London Has Fallen makes its debut at the top knocking off The Divergent Series Allegiant.
London Has Fallen how UK cinemas on 4th March 2016 as a sequel to Olympus Has Fallen from 2013, the film hit the top of the box office on its debut weekend.
A sizeable hit the film was on the box office for 5 weeks and then hung around cinemas for another 8 weeks after that.
A £10.9 million total gross in the UK isn't bad for a disaster movie of this kind, but hte film did perform far better in the UK than in other countries, possibly the setting being part of the reason.
After a debut at the top last week The Divergent Series Allegiant falls to number 3 this week with Kung Fu Panda 3 holding firm at number 2.
Other new film this week are The Witch at number 5 and High Rise at number 7, Norm of The North is new at 11 and The Trust debuts at number 12.
Despite the fact that it took him over 10 years to follow up on Titanic, which is the highest grossing movie of all time, it seems he hasn't lost his Midas touch as Avatar reaches the magic $1 Billion mark in world grosses.
Not only has it reached the magic milestone that so few films before it have done, this is only the 5th, but it has done it in 17 days of release. It has to date taken $1,022,314,898 in world grosses, and at this rate could become the 2nd highest grossing in no time.
This must be pleasing Fox, and a sigh of relief for Cameron who gambled a lot on this film, and gave it a production cost of $230,000,000, at the current box office rate and potential home video sales it will redeem its budget easily.
Will it challenge Titanic's box office crown? There is a strong possibility, the ship disaster movie was a film that people went and saw again and again, Avatar seems to be doing the same, it must be for the stunning 3D effects rather than the story.
This is also truly a cinema film and people won���t want to wait to watch it on their home cinema system regardless of how good, or big a screen they have, the movie theatre experience can���t be beaten on this occasion.

As may have expected, Warner Bros's Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is the top grossing movie of 2009 across the world in box office recipts.
The sixth Harry Potter movie topped out at $925,948,049 (£573,244,896) in world grosses, which also makes it the 8th highest grossing film of all time right behind Order of the Phoenix.
Behind Potter was the computer animated film Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs which took $882,673,705 (£546,263,204) with Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen coming in 3rd with $832,076,689 (£514,953,924).
Disaster movie 2012 did well coming in 4th with $745,190,680 (£461,182,780) and finalising the top 5 for the year was the continuing saga of Twilight, New Moon, with $671,228,000 (£415,363,712).
Also making strong appearances for the year are animated tale Up, Angels and Demons and most surprising of all The Hangover.
James Cameron���s Avatar is doing big business at the tail end of 2009 and will no doubt be a top earner of films released in 2009, but much of its takings will be in 2010.
