As the world starts to open its cinemas as the slowly starts to return to some kind of normal even during the COVID-19 pandemic, South Korea among a few other countries report film taking over a million at the box office.

Leading the way this week is South Korea as their new movie Deliver Us From Evil tops the chart with the Chinese release of 1917 taking the film to number 2 as a re-entry.

Deliver Us From Evil

This murder mystery from Thailand hots the top on its debut release in its native country with a weekend gross of $13.4 Million.

The movie is directed by Won-Chan Hong and stars Jung-min Hwang and Jung-jae Lee.

1917

After a delayed release in China Sam Mendes World War drama re-enters the global box office at number 2 with $5.6 Million.

THis puts the movies total gross worldwide at $379.4 Million since its release in December of 2019.

Intersteller

With the delay in the release of tenet one of Christopher Nolans previous films gets a re-release and this weeks sits at number 3 with $4.2 Million, the film has taken $699.5 Million since its 2014 release.

Dolittle

The Robert Downey Jr. movie took the top slot over the last coupe of week and this week slips to number 4 with a gross of $2 Millon pushing the films total to $184.4 Million.

Sheep Without a Shepherd

Making a re-entry this week is the Sam Quah directed movies which is at 5 this week with a $2 Million gross taking its total global gross to $5.5 Million.

With cinemas still closed across the UK the home video market is still doing well and this week Birds Of Prey re-enters the chart at the top after getting the traditional Blu-Ray and digital to own release.

Another film which had a "home box office" release earlier in the year and now goes back up the chart on its blu-ray and digital to own release.

Despite the original controversy when the original trailer was release the film was a big box office hit in mid February when it was release, it hit the top on its debut with £4 Million.

The movie then spent 5 weeks on the box office before cinemas closed and took £18 Million during that time.

Sam Mendes World War movie is bouncing around the home entertainment charts and this week goes back to number 2 on its 6th week.

Falling from its debut position at the top last week the Robert Downey Jr. movie falls to number 3 on its second week of release.

Onward

Pixar movies have always done well on the home entertainment front and their latest is no exception, it falls to number 4 this week, its 6th week of release.

Bloodshot

It did fall to number 3 on its second weekend but during half-term it rebounded to number 2 and became a box office hit taking £15.8 Million over 6 weeks and only stopped its run because of the cinema closures.

Onward

Pixars latest hit may have had a shortened run but it is doing well in the home and this weeks rebounds back to number 2 on its 5th week.

The smash hit war movie which is the biggest box office film of the year so far falls to number 3 on its 5th weekend of release.

Parasite

The Oscar winning movie from director Bong Joon Ho became the highest grossing foreign language film in the UK during its 7 week box office run.

The film was released early February in the UK and landed at number 4 on the box office with £1.4 Million on its way to £12 Million.

Bad Boys For Life

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence fall to number 5 this week from the top spot on their 4th week of release.
