Pixar must be kicking themselves this week as their new film Inside Out makes a fantastic debut on the US box office, but there is no stopping Jurassic World at the moment.
A second week gross of $102 million which means that the dinosaur film was $11 million ahead of the number 2 film, but when were talking figures this big thats a small margin really.
Jurassic World has become the fastest grossing film of all time in the US with it's total gross at slightly under $400 million after 10 days of release.
Pixar''s first film in 2 years makes a massive debut at number 2 this week with a weekend gross of $91 million, a phenomenal weekend take which normally would have seen it debut at the top.
Fantastic reviews for Inside Out have given the film a boost and I wouldn't rule out a just to the top next week, Pixar film usually have strong staying power.
The only other new film in the US this week was the Pharrell Williams produced Dope at number 5.
