$0 Spending a second weekend at the top of the US box office this weekend is the Spider-verse movie Venom: The Last Dance which takes $26.1 Million.
The movie has now taken a very respectable $90 Million over 2 weeks of release, the lowest of the Venom series but not bad for the Spider-verse series which is dying in the cinema.
The new Robert Zemeckis and Tom Hanks Collaboration Here is the top new movie of the weekend landing at 5 with $5 Million.

Marvel release their latest movie and with it the first signs that cinema goers are putting the pandemic behind them is stating to show as it gets a massiv debut gross.
Also new on the global box office this week is The Tomorrow War which makes its debut in Chinese cinemas and gets a good debut weekend, also new this week are After We Fell which is new at 7 with $6 Million .

Global box office top 5 breakdown weekend 3rd - 5th September 2021
A new Marvel movie and a new number 1, the second movie in the phase 4 series of movies from the MCU gets a cinema only release and becomes one of the top movies in recent months.
The movie takes a fantastic $127.6 Million on its debut weekend and continues to prove that cinema is not a dying form of watching movies and studios can make money.
The movie got released in 42 countries this weekend and topped the box office in most of them.
Shawn Levys sleeper movie of the summer falls to number 2 this weekend after spending 3 weeks at top with a $34 Million gross from 48 countries.
The movie has had small drops in weekend taking over its weeks of release and this week is no exception with a small 33% drop, another sign people are going back to cinemas.
It is now the 6th top grossing movie globally of 2021 with $239.2 Million.
The horror remake never made it to the top of the global box office as this week it drop to number 3 with a weekend gross of $13.1 Million from 53 countries, a 52% drop on its second weekend, the movie has taken $50 Million in total.
The Children's movie drops to number 4 this weekend with $11.1 Million from from 48 countries, a very slim 34% drop over last weekend, for a total of $80.6 Million after 4 weeks of release.
This Chris McKay starring Chris Pratt got released in many countries back in July on the Amazon Prime streaming channel, but this week gets a cinema release in China and makes its global debut at 5 with $8.1 Million.

The movie is directed by Craig Brewer and has a cast including the likes of Eddie Murphy and James Earl Jones, while the release date of the film is 5th March 2021 and is coming to Prime Video after it was sold by Paramount earlier this year.
Years after Prince Akeem Joffer (Eddie Murphy) came to America to "sow his royal seeds" he is set to become King of Zamunda, he then discovers he has a son he never knew about in America - a street savvy Queens native named Lavelle (Jermaine Fowler).
Honoring his royal father"s (James Earl Jones) dying wish to groom this son as the crown prince, Akeem and Semmi (Arsenio Hall) set off to America once again.

At the UK box office this weekend, Friday, 26th July 2019, there are 4 new releases looking to take your attention at the local multiplex and knock The Lion King from the top of the UK box office chart next week.
First up at cinemas this week is Horrible Histories: The Movie - Rotten Romans, a Family movie from director Dominic Brigstocke who is directing for the first time.
It stars Emilia Jones who last starred in Two For Joy (2018) and Sebastian Croft who last appeared in The Hippopotamus (2017).
Next on the new release schedule is The Current War, this new Dramatic movie stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Michael Shannon.
The film is brought to us by 4 time director Alfonso Gomez-Rejon who's last film was Me And Earl And The Dying Girl.
Next up this week is The Intruder which is directed by Deon Taylor and is a directorial debut.
It stars Michael Ealy and Meagan Good who were last seen together in Think Like A Man Too which grossed £131,138.
Also this week there is André Rieu 2019 Maastricht Concert: Shall We Dance? from director Michael Wiseman marking a directorial debut,
The film features André Rieu and Charlotte Hawkins in starring roles.

Animation aimed at a more adult audience lands at the top of the box office chart this week as Sausage Party makes its UK debut at number 1.
With lead vocals from Seth Rogan the innuendoes fly fas in this 15 rated comedy as its grosses a good, but not great, £2.6 million.
Finding Dory has had a fantastic run at the box office, 2 spells at the top but this week falls down to number 3.
Its not a sad story thought and an excellent 6th week gross of £1.5 million brongs the films total gross in the UK to a fantastic £38 million, it has not out grossed Finding Nemo in the UK.
Also making their debut on the box office chart this week are Brotherhood at number 2 with £1.9 million and Cafe Society at number 9 with £0.5 million.
Highest grossing film on the box office this week is Finding Dory and longest run is The BFG which has spent 7 weeks on the top 10.
Next week sees the release of Ben-Hur (a remake) and Captain Fantastic as well as Don't Breathe the current American number 1.
