The sequel movie to Minions from the Despicable Me universe goes back to the top of the global box office on its 10th weekend of release with a global gross of $17.7 Million, 41% down from last weekend.

Despite the reduction in weekend over weekend takings the weekend take is bolstered by good performances in China and Italy where the movie is only on its second weekend.

The movie has done very well globally and still available in 85 countries the movie has taken $868.8 Million and is the 4th top movie of 2022.

The late summer hit movie goes back to number 3 this weekend, driven by a lack of new releases and the movie opening in a couple of new countries.

The movie takes $15 Million on its 4th weekend, a small 25% drop over last weekend, with a total gross of $175 Million to date.

The Chinese only release sequel movie jumps up the chart 1 place this weekend to number 3 with $12.9 Million, all from its single country of release.

This is a 35% drop over last weekend and gives the movie a total global gross of $43.6 Million after 2 weeks of release.

The smash hit cinese movie which is only released in 1 terretory jumps back to number 4 this weekend with 12.1 Million, a 31% drop giving it a 5 week total of $421.9 Million.

The movie is the 9th top grossing globally of 2022.

The Tom Cruise starring movie is by far the top movie of 2022 and the only one, so far, to gross over a billion dollars at the global box office.

This weekend on its 14th weekend of release it jumps back into the top 5, at 5, with a gross of $11,4 Million, a small 21% drop over last weekend.

The movie has a chance to go even higher next weekend, can it dare even go back to the top, a massive feat given the movie has taken $1,4 Million so far, or will Spider-Man: No Way Home get in its way with a re-release with 10 minutes extra footage?
