An all star lineup of Ryan Reynold, Samuel L. Jackson and Salma Hayek return in the comedy movie The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard, sequel to The Hitman's Bodyguard.

Also coming along for the ride this time is Morgan Freeman and Antonio Banderas in what looks like a deadpan comedy.

Although it remains at the top for a second weekend IT Chapter Two fell hard and had a serious challenge from highest new entry Hustlers which makes its debut at the US box office.

IT Chapter Two

After making its debut on the box office chart last weekend the horror sequel remains at the top this weekend despite dropping 55% from last weekend for a take of $40.7 Million.

This takes the Jessica Chastain and James McAvoy starring movies total gross to $153.8 after 2 weeks of release.

The film is unlikely to reach the $327 Million of the first movie.

Hustlers

Coming in as the highest new entry of the week is this comedy drama starring Constance Wu and Jennifer Lopez and directed by Lorene Scafaria based on a New York Magazine article.

The film does better than expected with a debut gross of $33.2 Million.

Angel Has Fallen

The Gerard Butler and Morgan Freeman sequel movie is at 3 this week and takes $4.4 Million on its fourth weekend taking its total to $60.3 Million.

Good Boys

The R rated comedy is at number 4 this week with $4.2 Million pushing its total to $73.3 Million after 5 weeks on release.

The Lion King

Making a slow climb down the box office, and the longest run on this weeks chart at 9 weeks is Disney's animated remake which is at number 5 this week and adds $3.5 Million and pushes its total to $533.9 Million.

It Chapter Two brings to and end a quiet couple of weeks at the UK box office as it enters the top of the box office while Polish Political drama Polityka enters inside the top 5.

IT Chapter Two

Its been 2 years since the original IT scared audiences on its debit weekend to the tune of £10 Million, the sequel has not quite reached that mark but the £7.3 Million has given the UK box office a boost.

Whereas the first film relied on its young cast and the thought of Pennywise the clown to carry the film this film brings in some big hitting stars like Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy and Bill Hader.

The first film went on to £32 Million in the UK and hung around till the end of October (Halloween), expect this to not quite do as well as its predecessor but hang around until late October.

Once Upon a Time ... In Hollywood

Quentin Tarantino's (who lets face it is the real star of this movie) 9th film falls to number 2 this week and is easily his most successful film to date as this weekend it take £1 Milllion.

This pushes the movies total gross to £18.5 Million after 4 weeks of release.

Angel Has Fallen

The third film in the Fallen series starring Gerard Butler and Morgan Freeman falls to number 3 this week with £695,622 taking its total to £5.9 Million.

The Lion King

Highest total grossing film on the box office this week and a £686,991 weekend puts its total at an incredible £73.1 after 8 weeks of release.

Polityka

Entering the box office at number 5 this week is a Polish Political drama starring Iwona Bielska and Marcin Bosak and directed by Patryk Vega.

The film takes a very respectable £517,255 on its debut from a limited run of 236 screens making an average of nearly £2,000 per screen.

Toy Story 4

Pixars mega hit has the longest run on the UK box office this weekend as the film notches up its 12th weekend with a total UK gross of £64.5 Million.

After a very quiet couple of weekends on the US box office a monster of a film gets release this weeks in the shape of IT Chapter Two, but it comes in quite a bit below the original IT from 2 years ago, it still dominates the box office.

IT Chapter Two

Following on 2 years from 2017's IT the follow up takes over at the top of the US box office with ease, but whereas the first film opened to a massive $126 Million Chapter Two comes in at $91 Million.

The fan base is still there, and unlike other sequels this isn't a sequel as much as it completes the Stephen King book which interwinds between the two stories throughout.

With favourable reviews the film should see itself do well over the autumn (fall) and in the build up to Halloween where it is bound to get re-promoted.

Angel Has Fallen

The threequel movie starring Gerard Butler and Morgan Freeman falls to number 2 after a couple of weeks at the top with a weekend gross of $6 Million.

THe movie now has a total US gross of $53.4 Million after 3 weeks on the box office.

Good Boys

Falling to number 3 this week is the R rated teen movie which takes $5.3 Million on its 4th weekend for a new total US gross of $66.8 Million.

The Lion King

Disneys remake has been a smash hit for the mouse studio and after 8 weeks the film is still inside the top 5, this week taking $4.1 Million.

THe movies total US gross now sits at an amazing $529.1 Million, it is the 12th highest grossing movie in the US ever and could still enter the top 10 before the end of its run.

Overcomer

The faith based movie fell out of the top 5 last week but bounces back this weekend as the film climbs to number 5 with $3.7 Million takings its total to $24.7 Million on its 3rd week.

Spider Man: Far From Home

The, maybe last, Spider-Man movie in Disney's MCU has been a mega smash for Sony who own the movie copyright to the character and this week it spends its 10th week on the chart and has a total US gross of $388.1 Million.

After a couple of weeks of very little happening on the global box office this week the much anticipated sequel to IT makes its way to the top on its debut weekend.

IT Chapter Two

Two years on from the original and the sequel hits the top spot on its debut, although with less impact and less favourable reviews.

The Andy Muschietti directed movie takes $185 Million on its global debut from 76 countries.

Fast & Furious Presents Hobbs And Shaw

The franchise movie starring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham falls to 2 this week with $19.4 Million from 76 countries.

After 6 weeks of release the movie has now taken a very respectable $719.7 Million which puts it on the lower end of the Fast & Furious movies.

The Lion King

Disneys remake continues to pull in audiences across the world as it take $17.5 Million from 51 countries on its 9the weekend.

The film is now at $1.59 Billion total gross and it will become only the 7th movie to cross $1.6 Billion.

Once Upon A Time ... In Hollywood

Quentin Tarantino's most successful film to date is at number 4 this week with a weekend gross of $15.1 Million from 60 countries taking its total to $310.5 after 7 weeks.

Angel Has Fallen

Falling to number 5 after 3 weeks of release in the threequel movie starring Gerard Butler and Morgan Freeman which takes $8 Million from 44 countries pushing its total to $97.3 Million.
