Review: Get On Up  The Film Experience Fri, 8th August 2014

In the US this weekend there was only really one film in the shape of Marvel/Disney's latest franchise Guardians of the Galaxy.

From the same studio that has broken box office takings over the past years as Avengers Assemble, Iron Man and Captain America to name a few, Guardians of the Galaxy posts the highest August gross ever.

There was speculation over the new franchise and is there was room in an already crowded superhero market, but it looks like there is still room for good entertaining films, and the positive reviews wont have hurt at all.

Audience reaction was positive as well, and pitch at older teenagers during the holiday period this could have lasting appeal and another Billion dollar film from Marvel could be on the cards.

Also out his week, and making a solid debut at 3 is Get on Up, a biographic film of James Brown, the film debut's with a $14 million weekend.
