Guillermo del Toro brought us a version of Hellboy in the early naughties but this year director Neil Marshall brings us his re-image of the super hero.

Looking darker and more like the comic book the new film stars David Harbour as the title character.

The BBFC have given the film a 15 rating in the UK for strong bloody violence, gore, language and the film has a runtime of 121 minutes (2 hours 1 minute).

With the April 11th release dat fast approaching for the rebooted Hellboy today Lionsgate give us a new Red Band trailer.

This looks very different to the Guillermo del Toro version of the story, which is most likely done purposely, with this looking grittier and arguably more like the comic book source material.

Directed by Neil Marshall and starring David Harbour you can check out the new trailer below.

Its been over 10 years since the last Hellboy movie but next year the series gets a reboot with new director and star.

Guillermo del Toro did a hell of a job in the director chair but Neil Marshall has taken over and the new film stars David Harbour as the title character.

The film is set for release on 12th April 2019 and you can enjoy the trailer below.

Marvel released their latest superhero this weekend into the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the shape of Black Panther and became the studios second best debut behind Avengers Age of Ultron the second Avengers movie.

A weekend gross of £17.7 million means the film is less than a million behind the multi superhero film.

The second Avengers movie went of to make just shy of £50 million so Black Panther could well go over that mark in the coming weeks, the first Avengers movie, Avengers Assemble is the top grossing Marvel movie at £51 million.

Falling to number 2 this week is Fifty Shades Freed which takes £2.7 million in its second weekend for a £13.3 million total so far.

New at number 3 is the critically praised The Shape of Water from Guillermo del Toro, a £2.4 million debut isn't hit top debut, Hellboy II: The Golden Army did better, but its right up there.

Holding on at number 4 is The Greatest Showman which has now been around for 8 week and is the top grossing film of 2018, so far, and has taken an amazing £30 million.

Finally Coco from Disney Pixar is still in the top 5 and has now taken £15 million over 5 weeks.
