$0 A new trailer is release today for the ever expanding Conjuring Universe release Annabelle Comes Home which hits cinemas on 28th June 2019 from Warner Bros.
Annabelle is a demonically possessed doll that wrecks mayhem on all who get in her way and try to destroy her, the movie is directed by Gary Dauberman and Stars Mckenna Grace and Patrick Wilson.
The new trailer has a few jump scares but nothing new really, but the film will be loved by those who enjoy this series and the films universe.
Check out the trailer below.
It is with absolutely no suprise at all the Avengers Infinity War is the top film in the US (and just about everywhere) this weekend, but with the high expectation given to the film it actually outperformed.
Early estimation are coming in with a weekend gross of $250 million, which would beat Star Wars: The Force Awakens opening weekend of $248 million making it the highest grossing opening ever.
These figures are with a Sunday estimate and Disney are thinking they may have this about $5 million lower than the true figure so we could see an opening weekend of $255 million - either way it is a massive record breaking figure for the film.
Avengers aside A Quite Place drops down to number 2 this weekend, the film has done incredibly well for a low budget horror, it has grossed $10.6 million this weekend bringing the total to $148 million.
At third is the Amy Schumer comedy I Feel Pretty which grosses $8.1 million over the weekend for a $30 million total.
Rampage sits at 4 this weekend with a $7 million weekend and an $80 million total and Black Panther shoots back up to number 5 with the release of Avengers Infinity War, the film this weeks takes $4.3 million which brings the total to an incredible $688 million.
On the UK video chart this week The Divergent Series Allegiant makes its debut at the top moving Grimsby well and truly out of the way.
Allegiant was released in the UK on 11th March 2016 and made its debut at number 2 of that week with Kung Fu Panda 3 beating it to the top.
Ironically it is the other way round on the video charts, Kung Fu Panda 3 is also released this week on video and makes its debut at number 2.
The Divergent Series Allegiant was a small hit at the box office only staying for 4 weeks with a total UK gross of £4.3 million.
This is a poor showing for the series, the first 2 films made £6 and £7 million respectively so this is a low.
Last weeks top film Grimsby falls from the top to number 4 after only one week and will most likely continue on a fast face out of the chart.
Other new film this week are: as already mentioned Kung Fu Panda 3 is at 2, The Boy is new at number 6 and Hail, Ceasar! is at 7 and finally Forsaken is new at 9.
Men in Black was great, Men in Black 2 starts great but get silly towards the end, so you can imagine, a 3rd could lie either way in my book, couple this with the reports of problems on set and there is a fear of trouble brewing in the MIB franchise for a third film.
Sony have now delivered a trailer, and although I went in skeptical I have to say by the end of the trailer I was won over and I'm now looking forward to this film.
OK the premise seems a little old, time travel, and it seems like Tommy Lee Jones wasn't as willing as Will Smith to be in the film, but it looks great, Emma Thompson has a brilliant fleeting appearance in the trailer and from there I just sat back and enjoyed.
Check out the trailer below and let me know what you think.
