Marvel Studios release their latests blockbuster Black Panther Wakanda Forever which has been given a 12A rating in the UK for moderate violence, threat, injury detail The movie stars Tenoch Huerta who was last seen in The Forever Purge in 2021 and Letitia Wright who played Shuri in the last Black Panther and was also seen in Death on the Nile~2020 from earlier this year.
Like Black Panther the movie is directed by Ryan Coogler who is also known for directing the Rocky spin off movie Creed.

Also new this weekend is Vengeance from The Office star B.J. Novak which takes $1.7 Million on its debut and enters at number 10.

Highest new movie of the weekend and the new number 1 movie is the DC animated feature which takes the top of the North American box office with $23 Million.
Director Jordan Peele's third movie entered the box office at number 1 last weekend but slips to second place on its second week of release.
The movie takes $18.5 Million this weekend which is a steep 58% drop over last weekend and this brings the movies total gross to $80 Million.
The latest in the MCU series of movies spends its 4th weekend on the top 5 as it slips to number 3 with $13 Million, a 42% drop over last weekend.
The movie has now taken �301.6 Million on its North America run which makes it the 6th top movie of 2022.
Comparing the movie to Thor: Ragnarok which had taken $277 Million 4 weeks into its run this movie is ahead.
The animated sequel takes $10 Million over the weekend, its 5th on the box office, which is a 39% drop from the previous weekend.
This gives the movie a total gross of $320 Million, it is the 5th top movie of 2022 so far.
Compared to Minions from 2015 this movie is ahead of its $302 Million it had grossed 5 weeks into its run.
The biggest hit of the year so far as the Tom Cruise starring movie falls to number 5 this weekend with $8.4 Million over the weekend, a very low 18% drop for a movie which is 10 weeks old.
This gives the movie $650 Million in total and it is the top movie of 2022 by a large margin.
Compared to 1986's Top Gun, and adjusted for inflation, this movie is well behind its $235 Million ($95 Million actual).
Warner Bros. release their super-hero inspired movie DC League of Super-Pets this weekend to capitalise on the Summer Holidays and score a number 1 hit at the UK box office.
Also hitting the box office this weekend is Ek Villain Returns at number 12 with £128,493, Olivia Coleman in Joyride~2022 at number 14 with £64,824 and Fire of Love at 15 with £59,803.

Making its debut at the top of the UK box office this weekend is a movie inspired by the characters in the DC Universe of Super-heroes and their Super-Pets!
The movie stars the voise talents of Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Heart and it takes £2.6 Million on its debut weekend.
Falling to number 2 this weekend after taking the top spot for a second time is the Minions sequel movie which on its 5th weekend of release takes £1.9 Million, a 35% drop.
The movie has now taken a total of £33.5 Million in the UK which is just behind the original movie which had taken £37 Million in 2015.
The movie is also the 6th biggest film of 2022 to date.
The latest in the MCU movies falls to number 3 this weekend with £1,9 Million, a 37% drop over last weekend.
The fourth in the Thor series has now taken £30 Million at the UK box office after 4 weeks of release, it is currently ahead of 2017's Thor: Ragnarok which had taken £28 Million at this stage in its run.
The movie is currently the 7th top movie of 2022.
The Elvis Presley bio-pic from director Baz Luhrmann remains at number 4 this weekend with £1.1 Million on its 6th weekend, a very slim 11% drop over last week.
This gives the movie a total UK gross of £20.8 Million making it the directors top grossing movie in the UK.
The incredible run of the Top Gun sequel has been unprecedented for a movie that was release over 30 years after the original, and it has found a new generation of fans and the studio must be looking at doing another movie, perhaps without Tom Cruise!
The movie has this weekend taken £981,129, a very slim 10% drop over last weekend which takes the movies total in the UK to £76 Million.
It is the top grossing movie of 2022, where it might remain if Avatar: Way of the Water doesn't spoil the party in December.
The movie is also now the 9th top grossing movie ever in the UK having taken over the 2019 version of The LIon King~2019 with an eye to go even higher on the list.
Comparing it to the original movie from 1986 is hard considering the gap in releases, but if adjust for inflation the £1.88 average price of a ticket in 1986 then the original would have taken about £49 Million at this stage in its run.
