Making its debut at the top of the US box office this week The Lost City~2022 starring Sandra Bullock and Canning Tatum among a host of celebrities.

Also making debuts this weekend are the Indian movie RRR at number 3 while Infinite Storm is new at 10 with $751,296 and Everything Everywhere All At Once is new at number 13 with $509,659.

The Lost City

The star power of Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum are as evident as ever as this light hearted action comedy which is reminiscent of the 1984 movie Romancing the Stone hits the top on its debut weekend.

The movie, which also stars Brad Pitt and Daniel Radcliffe, makes its debut with a fantastic $31 Million which actually takes it into the top 10 movies of 2022 at number 9.

The Batman

After 3 weeks at the top of the US box office the Matt Reeves vision of the Dark Knight falls to number 2 with a weekend gross of $20.5 Million, a 44% drop.

The movies total gross is now boosted to $331.9 Million over its 4 week run, which is not close to the gross of Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, but in the current climate is still good.

The movie is also the top grossing film of 2022 so far.

RRR

Indian period movie directed by S.S. Rajamouli makes a very impressive debut this weekend at number 3 with a gross of $9.5 Million.

The movies has been a bit of a surprise across the globe as its debut global gross hit $13.4 Million on its debut this weekend.

Uncharted

Falling to number 4 this weekend is the Tom Holland video game vehicle which takes $5 Million on its 6 weekend, a 36% drop, taking its gross to $133.5 Million and the 3rd to movie of 2022 so far.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie

The Japanese animated movie which came in as the highest new movie last weekend at number 2 falls by 49% this weekend with a gross of $2.2 Million.

Still a magnificent total gross of $8.2 Million makes it one of the best grossing manga movies in North America.

Last weekend saw Sing 2 at the top of the UK box office, with 5 new releases can any of them do enough to top the box office chart this weekend?
