Cinemas are back open in the UK after nearly 5 months of being closed and there are a whole host of new releases this week to mark the occasion.
Most of these new movies came out on Monday, and many of them have been delayed from last year, and some of them are already available on streaming so there is a nice mixed bag.
Here is a rundown of this weeks new movies in the UK.

While Mortal Kombat took top honors last weekend, Demon Slayer the Movie: Mugen Train takes over at the top this weekend with the slimmest of margins.
The top new movie of the weekend is Separation which makes its debut at number 4.

US box office top 5 breakdown 30th April - 2nd May 2021
The Chinese hit movie might have missed out on a debut at the top but it climbs to pole position on its second weekend of release.
The movie takes $6.4 Million on its second weekend of release, a massive 70% drop from last weekend, which pushes the total US gross to $34.11 Million.
Falling into second place after its debut at the top is the video game adaptation which takes $6.2 Million over the weekend, a 73% drop from last weekend.
The movie is having a fight with Demon Slayer the Movie: Mugen Train and after 2 weeks of release has taken a slither less with $34.1 Million.
Top movie in the US of the year so far stays put at number 3 with $2.74 Million, a slim 36% drop from last weekend.
After 5 weeks the movie has now taken $90.3 Million and should reach $100 Million before the end of its cinema run.
Highest new movie of the weekend is the William Brent Bell directed horror movie which takes $1.83 million on its debut.
Disney's animated smash stays put at number 5 this weekend with $1.33 Million, a tiny 23% drop from last weekend, giving the movie a $41.58 Million total gross over 9 weeks of release.
The US box office this weekend was the biggest in over a year as the new adaptation of Mortal Kombat and the Chinese animation Demon Slayer The Movie: Mugen Train land in the top two places with fantastic first weekend numbers.
Elsewhere on the chart Together Together from director Nikole Beckwith lands at number 8 with a debut gross of half a million dollars.

US box office top 5 breakdown 23rd - 25th April 2021.
The video game franchise was first brought to the big screen by Paul W.S. Anderson in 1995 in what at the time was a critical champion at the box office and went on to gross $70.4 Million in the US.
26 years later director Simon McQuoid brings us a new interpretation to the big screen and makes its debut with $23.3 Million and gives a true sign, after Godzilla Vs. Kongs fantastic box office run, that things are getting back to pre-pandemic levels.
The movie has been much hyped and favourable reviews have helped the movie, and nothing else in competition will have given the movie a boost on its debut.
Having been released in its native country of China in October 2020 the movie was delayed because tof the pandemic in the rest of the world, and with a gross of $375 Million to date the movie has made an enormous impact.
This weekend the Haruo Sotozaki directed animation got its US debut as was only $2 Million off taking the number 1 spot with a debut gross of �21.14 Million.
The movie is being hailed as a classic and a big box office run could be on the cards.
The monster face off falls from the top after 3 weeks and lands at number 3 this weekend with $4.29 Million, a drop of 45% from last weekend.
This gives the movie a total gross of $86.6 Million after 3 weeks of release and is the biggest film in the US in 2021 and the biggest film during the pandemic lockdowns.
Falling to number 4 this week is the Bob Odenkirk starring movie which takes $1.742 Million, 30% down, for a $21.5 Million total after 5 weeks of release.
Dropping to number 5 this week is the Disney fantasy movie which takes $1.741 Million, down just 9%, for a total of $39.9 Million after 8 weeks of release.
This weekend there are 2 new releases looking to take your attention on the home entertainment market as we finally get Mortal Kombat on home streaming and we have Stowaway joining it.
A new trailer and poster has been released for upcoming movie Mortal Kombat, both of which can seen in full below.
The movie is directed by Simon McQuoid and has a cast including the likes of Jessica McNamee and Hiroyuki Sanada, while the release date of the film is 16th April 2021.
The trailer gives all the characters a few seconds of screen time to show off their skills and demonstrate their fatality moves while giving a breakdown of the story.
Mortal Kombat is a mysterious, intergalactic tournament of ancient martial arts. Shaolin Monk Liu Kang, from Earth, gets invited as a competitor.
