The movie stars Nicholas Cage who starred in the highly acclaimed Pig~2021 from 2021 as well as many other hit movies and Pedro Pascal who is best known these days as The Mandalorian but also starred as the baddie in Wonder Woman 1984.
The movie is directed by Tom Gormican who brought us That Awkward Moment in 2014.
Movie Synopsis
Unfulfilled and facing financial ruin, actor Nick Cage accepts a $1 million offer to attend a wealthy fan's birthday party. Things take a wildly unexpected turn when a CIA operative recruits Cage for an unusual mission. Taking on the role of a lifetime, he soon finds himself channeling his most iconic and beloved characters to save himself and his loved ones.

Ant-Man managed to beat off the new comedy starring Adam Sandler this weekend in a fairly tight battle for the top of the US box office but Ant-Man stays on top makes it 2 weeks at number 1
The tiny superhero movie took just shy of $25 million during its second weekend on the box office which brings the movies total after 10 days to $106 million, low for a Disney/Marvel movie but still a good total gross.
Pixels is the latest off beat comedy from Adam Sandler who's box office grosses have been slipping lately, this latest vehicle has him mixing 80's nostalgia which his brand of comedy for a fun but ultimately pointless movie.
A $24 million weekend sees it land into the runner up position, but it's not a convincing weekend and the film could slip out of the box office completely quite quickly.
Other new film which opened in the US this week are Southpaw which is new at at number 5 and Paper Towns making its debut at number 6.
