This weekend, Friday 4th November 2022, there are 7 new films released in North America and where available looking to hit the box office chart, but can they challenge last weekends top movie, Black Adam, for the number 1 spot?

This week saw the true event film Everest climb to the summit of the box office charts on its debut week of release.
A £3.1 million opening gross, including previews, saw the film get to the top of the box office, although previews saw a large proportion of this.
Last weeks top film, Legend, had a small fall this week into the number 2 spot with £2.4 million over the weekend and nearly £10 million in total after 10 days of release.
Also making a first appearance on the chart this week is A Walk in the Woods at number 7 and Bill at number 8.
Highest total grossing film on the chart this week is Inside Out which has now grossed an incredible £37.6 million.

A year ago - The Boxtrolls retained its position at the top of the box office while A Walk Among The Tombstones was highest at 2.
Five years ago - The Other Guys was the top new film of the week at the top knocking Resident Evil: Afterlife down to number 3.
Ten years ago - Pride and Prejudice made its debut at the top of the box office leaving The Longest Yard to fall from the top to number 2.<> Fifteen years ago - Scary Movie stayed on top of the chart while Shaft was the highest new film making its debut at number 3.
Twenty years ago - Braveheart was too strong to be knocked off the top on its second week on the chart meaning highest new film was at number 2 for The Bridges of Madison County.
Twenty Five years ago - Memphis Belle remained on top of the box office while Robocop 2 was the top film entering at number 2.
This week Disney prove their sales force by taking the top two slots on the video charts with Tinker Bell and the Pirate Fairy debuting at the top and Frozen hiding still at 2 for another week inside the top 3.
Disney released the 5th Tinker Bell feature film at UK cinemas on February 14th this year, over a 6 week period if debuted at 6 with £966,920 but then flew up to number 6 the following week taking £1,207,245.
It took a total gross of £5,459,408 which is by far the highest of the Tinker Bell films, the previous high being £3,798,612 from Tinker Bell and the Secret of the Wings in 2012.
Frozen continues it run on the video chart with a 13th week none of them being lower than 3.
Last weeks top film, Robocop falls to 3 this week.
This week there is very little to talk about on the DVD/Blu-ray chart. Last weeks top film Robocop is still the top film of the week and the highest new entry is right down the chart at number 16.
Other things of note on the chart is that Frozen has jumped back up to number 2 and has spent 12 weeks as one of the 3 best selling disks in all that time.
As for the highest new entry this week, Endless Love enters the chart at 16.
The film was released on 14th February this year entering the chart at number 8. A two week spell saw is fall out of the chart grossing £1,534,618.
There were no other new film this week.
Taking over at the top of the UK home entertainment big sellers this week is the 2014 remake of Robocop.
Robocop 2014 was released at UK cinemas early February this year making the number 2 spot on it's debit week, beaten by Mr. Peabody and Sherman, when it grossed £2.4 million.
Over a 4 week period on the box office it grossed £7.7 million and never climbed higher than it's number 2 debut spot.
Last weeks top film, Jack Ryan Shadow Recruit, has a hefty fall down the chart to number 8 this week after it's debut last week.
