For a second week on the trot Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker is the top home entertainment film of the week while JoJo Rabbit is the top new film at 2.

Another week at the top of the home entertainment chart for the Disney made Star Wars movie which was directed and written by JJ Abrams and ends the 9 film saga.

On its way down the chart the Jumanji sequel is at number 5 this week after spending 5 weeks on the home entertainment scene.

  8. Sonic The Hedgehog
  9. Knives Out
  10. Rocketman

With no box office charts being produced during the now global COVID-19 pandemic lets take a look at the home entertainment charts once again.

Frozen II unsurprisingly remains at the top, as it will do for the foreseeable future I expect, but we see a high new entry as Jumaji: The Next Level enters at number 2.

Frozen II

Brought onto streaming services ahead of schedule the smash hit theatrical hit follow up to Frozen remains at the top of the chart for a third week.

Jumanji: The Next Level

Released into theatres towards the end of 2019 the movie took an excellent £36 Million over 11 weeks of release hitting the top spot on its debut.

The film is the highest new entry on this week chart at number 2.

Knives Out

Rian Johnsons whodunnit movie starring Daniel Craig remains at number 3 this week as it spends a third week on the chart.

Bloodshot

Brought onto streaming services after only a week at the box office the film is a bit of a flop for Vin Diesel, this week the film remains at number 4 on its second weekend of release.

Le Mans '66

The Oscar nominated film falls to number 5 this week on its fourth week on the home entertainment chart.

Here is the full top 10 home entertainment chart (disk sales and streaming services)

Remaining at the top of the UK box office this week is the live action movie remake from Disney which takes an amazing £10.6 Million on its 2nd weekend.

The film now has a total gross in the Uk of £51 Million easily putting it as the second highest of the year.

Roaring into the UK box office at number 1 is Jon Favreau's live action remake of the Disney animated movie of the same name from 1994.

The Lion King

As expected the Disney movie remake of their classic animated tale hits the top in big style with a debut weekend of £16.6 Million.

The film took an incredibly 68% of the top 15 gross.

This isn't too far behind the live remake of Beauty And The Beast, which is so far the top grossing of this trend, which took £19.7 Million in 2017.

That film went on to gross £72.4 Million, so a £50 Million+ total is not out of the question.

Toy Story 4

The Disney Pixar fourquel takes £2.7 Million on its 5th weekend of release as it holds firm at number 2 on the box office.

The films UK total now stands at a very respectable £47.2 Million.

Spider Man: Far From Home

The post Avengers: Endgame movie falls from the top to number 3 this week with a gross of £2.3 Million pushing the films total to £27.2 Million after 3 weeks.

The last film in the phase 3 of the MCU remains at the top of the UK box office for a second weekend with a gross of £4.3 Million.
