With cinemas in the UK currently closed here is a weekly rundown of the UK box office chart headlines from the past 30 years.

This weekend a year ago was quite momentous with Avengers: Endgame hitting the top on its debut weekend to take the crown from Spectre (2015) as the highest grossing debut in the UK.
