This weeks UK video chart has The Hunger hames Mockingjay Part 2 at the top on its first week of release.

Mockingjay Part 2 was released in the UK on 20th November 2015 where it entered the box office at the top with a weekend gross of £11.2 million.

The film has a good 9 week run on the box office with 4 of those week at the top before it took a steady drop down.

The film is the 102nd highest grossing movie in the UK with a total gross of £29 million and with a total world gross of $652.9 million it is the 87th highest grossing film ever.

It is the second lowest success of The Hunger Games movies after the first film.

Also new on the video charts this week are: The Good Dinosaur at number 2, Black Mass at number 5, Carol at number 6 and finally Steve Jobs at 9.

With no strong new releases in the US this week Ridley Scotts The martian makes its way back to the top of the box office on its fourth week of release.

The Martian adds another $15 million to its total US gross which now brings the space drama to $166 million from its American release.

Goosebumps falls from the top to the number 2 spot this week and has now taken $43 million after 2 weekends of release.

Highest new film is The Last Witch Hunter which makes its debut at number 4 with $10.8 million, disappointing for a Vin Diesel film.

The new release all had disappointing debut weekends, the rest of the new films are - Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension which is new at number 6 and going on full release is Steve Jobs new at 7.

The film is out on 13th November 2015 and is much anticipated from the director who has brought us classics like Slumdog Millionaire and Trainspotting.

Much anticipated film based on the authorised biography of Steve Jobs and directed by Danny Boyle gets a teaser trailer.

Now the dust has settled on the WWDC keynote speech given last night (morning?) by Steve Jobs where he announced the next version of the iPhone, aside from the new front camera, speed and iOS4 operating system, the big news was the screen and it's HD goodness.

First of all the screen uses what is being called a Retina display, Jobs claims it's better than OLED. The displays pixels are 78 micrometers wide which allows the screen to have 4x the resolution of the iPhone 3Gs. This means the screen has 326 pixels per inch, the naked eye can only see 300 pixels per inch, which means that the screen is better than human eyesight.

What this means in layman's terms is that the iPhone can handle 780p HD video, and according to reports the screen is amazing. The screen is 960x640 pixels in resolution and has a contrast ration of 800:1, pretty good for a screen so small.

This wont stop you from getting neck ache, and could possible make your eyes hurt even more when watching Lord of the Rings on the device, but at least that Blu-ray transfer you make will look absolutely amazing, and if you were to attach the iPhone to a HDTV then you could potentially have your own portable video library.
