Marvel's adult orientated superhero movie Deadpool is the top new film of the week on the UK video sales list.

Deadpool was released at in the UK on 12th February 2016 and entered the box office at the top after a god advertising campaign.

The film had a really good run at the box office spending 3 weeks at the top and managing an 8 week run on the box office.

The film took £37.6 million at the UK box office making it the 54th top grossing movie and it took $775.6 million across the globe making it the 61st top grossing movie globally.

The Revenant fell from the top where it entered last week to number 3 this week.

Also new this week is Dads Army at number 2 and 13 Hours The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi at number 6, Bone Tomahawk makes a new entry at number 8 and The Finest Hour enters at number 16, finally Point Break (the remake) is new at 20.

With Star Wars: The Force Awakens starting to loose its grip, and another few weeks before Oscar night so The Revenant has a slow week Kung Fu Panda 3 storms in at the top.

Taking a reasonable $41million on its debut the 3rd Panda movie comes in the lowest of the 3 with Kung Fu Panda 2 debuting with $46million and the first movie debuting with $60million.

The Revenant falls down to number 2 this week although with Oscar just around the corner who knows what could happen, especially as Leo is hot tipped to win.

The Force Awakens has now taken $895million, the film adds $10million this weekend, the film could break $900million but it could also struggle.

Also new on the US box office are The Finest Hour at 4 and 50 Shade of Black, a parody of the Grey movie, at 9.
