Wonka spends its fourth weekend at the top of the UK box office as 2023 comes to an end with a total gross os £43.8 Million, it also ends up as the 4th top grossing movie of the year.
The movie comes in behind Barbie, Oppenheimer and The Super Mario Bros. Movie with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 coming in 5th.
Highest new movie of the weekend is Ferrari~2023 which comes in at number 2 with a debut gross of £1.9 Million.
Also worthy of mention is Hayao Miyazaki directorial finale The Boy and the Heron which makes its debut at number 4.

A new re-image of the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory novel from Roald Dahl based on the character of Wonka has been given a PG age rating in the UK for mild threat, violence, implied bad language
The movie stars Timothee Chalamet who has previously been seen in Loving Leah and will be seen next year in Dune Part Two, it also features Olivia Coleman from Hyde Park On Hudson and Hugh Grant from Notting Hill.
The movie is directed by Paul King who has previously been in charge of The Mighty Boosh Live: Future Sailors Tour and Bunny and the Bull.
