Marcel the Shell With Shoes On is an animated feature that was released in the US in July 2022 and gets its release in the UK in February 2022, its has been given a PG age rating in the UK for mild upsetting scenes, rude humour, infrequent drug references.
The movie features the voice of Jenny Slate who is the voice is Tammy in Bob's Burgers: The Movie and she also lent her voice to The Secret Life of Pets 2, it also features the voice of Isabella Rossellini who is probably best known for the 1986 movie Blue Velvet.
The movie is directed by Dean Fleischer-Camp, it is a feature debut for the director but this is based on hit short story of the same name.
Movie Synopsis
Marcel, a 1-inch-tall shell, lives with his grandmother, Connie, the only residents of their town after their neighbors' sudden, mysterious disappearance. When discovered by a guest amongst the clutter of his Airbnb, the short film he posts online brings Marcel millions of passionate fans and a new hope of reuniting with his long-lost family.

Re-entering the box office this week is the animated sequel movie which thanks to the British summer holidays is at number 14 this week with a total gross of £19.2 Million 13 weeks on the chart.
Having been released in only 3 territories last last weekend and making an incredible entry at 2 on the global box office Spider-Man: Far From Home easily climbs to the top on its second weekend.
The first post Avengers: Endgame MCU movie climbs to the top of the global box office this week after making its debut at 2 last week.
The movie takes and excellent $331.6 Million from 67 countries which pushes its total global gross to $580 Million.
Falling to number 2 from the top on its third weekend of release the Pixar film takes $77.4 Million from 46 countries.

The Conjuring Universe horror movie falls to 4 this week with a second weekend gross of $30.1 Million from 70 countries for a global total of $134.7 Million.
Now on its 7th weekend the animated feature takes $27.1 Million from 62 countries for a total gross of $262.4 Million.
The Pixar film Toy Story 4 remains at the top of the US box office for a second weekend and Annabelle Comes Home makes a good new entry at number 2.

After getting a re-release and re-promotion at the US box office the Marvel mega hit jumps back into the top 5 with $5.5 Million pushing the films total gross to $841.3 Million.
13 weeks on and the longest stay on the chart the live action of Disney's animated tale has taken $115.5 Million.
