Based on the fan favourite character Buzz Lightyear the movie is being billed as the definitive story of the character which was voiced by Tim Allen on the 4 movies.
Stepping up this time os Chris Evans who will voice the fames Space Ranger as his younger self.
Its an interesting concept to bring up an origins story based on a character which is a living toy, toys don't age!
All the toy story films, including the fourth one, where excellent and there is no doubt that if anyone can pull this off its Pixar.
Release date, in the US at least, is 22 June 2022, all being well with the world by then.

This pushes the films total global gross to $962.6 Million meaning the film will make it past the Billion mark next weekend.
The Chinese animation hit the box office this week nad took $83.1 Million ($92.2 including previews) from just the single country.
This makes the film the highest grossing debut in China for an animated movie beating Zootopia which held the record previously.
Maverick director Quentin Tarantino brings his new film to the global box office and after good reviews scores his biggest debut to date.
The film starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt took $40.3 Million from just the single country of release, America.
The Marvel web slinger movie from Sony took $33.2 Million from 8 countries this weekend on its 5th weekend of release.
This pushes the film past the magic $1 Billion mark on the global box office and its the 9th Marvel film to do this, the third this year alone.
Finishing of the top 5 this week is the Pixar animation which take $29.2 Million from 41 countries on its 6th weekend.
This puts the Toy Story sequel at $917.9 Million.
The Chinese film is at number 6 this week with a total gross of $107.6 Million pushing the film past the $100 Million global mark.
Sitting at number 7 this week is the Disney live action film which this week passes the $1 Billion mark at the global box office.
Danny Boyle's Beatles homage is at number 9 this week and with a total global gross of $109.6 Million goes past the $100 Million mark at the global box office.
Despite the potential mega hit Spider-Man: Far From Home making its debut at number 2 having only been released in very few countries Toy Story 4 makes it 2 weeks at the top.
The fourth film in the Toy Story saga stays at the top for a second weekend with a global gross 138.5 Million from 46 countries.
This pushes the film total global gross to $496.5 after 2 weeks of release.
The new Marvel movie gets released in just 3 countries this week and manages to enter the world box office at number 2 with a weekend gross of $111 Million.
The films gets a much wider global release next weekend and will take over at the top with ease.
Making its top 10 debut at number 3 on the world box office this week is the new horror from the Conjuring Universe as it takes $65.3 Million from 64 countries.
This pushes the films total global gross to $76.2 Million.
The Disney live action film has done far better than expected and is this week still at number 4 on the global box office with a weekend gross of $33.7 Million from 56 countries and a total gross of $874.1 Million.
Rounding out the global top 5 is the British film directed by Danny Boyle which this week takes $24.7 Million from 31 countries on its debut.
Spirited Away is arguably one of director Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli best films but in 2001 when the film was originally released it was banned in China, that ban was lifted this week and the film finally got a long overdue release.
There was another animated film released this week in China, and the rest of the world, this week, Toy Story 4, a brand new animation from Pixar and the fourth film in the very successful Toy Story Series.
In most of the world Toy Story 4 has topped the box office, including most of Europe and the United States, but in China the incredible happened and the 18 year old animation beat the brand new films.
This is quite incredible, and good news for cinema and the Chinese box office, I suspect many people in China have seen the film as it has been available on home video for years, but it would seem the public want to see this film on the big screen.
Its not all bad news for the Pixar movie as it has landed on the box office at number 2, but with Spirited Away taking $27.8 Million dollars (converted) compared with $13.2 Million (converted) the Toy Story film took half that of the Japanese animation.

The Pixar movie Toy Story 4 has been age rated by the BBFC and given a U certificate for very mild violence, scary scenes.
The fourth film in the Toy Story saga has all your favourite characters back for more adventures, this time it looks like its set in a travelling amusement park and Woody seems to get lost with the rest of the toys of Buzz Lightyear, Rex and Mr Potato Head et el searching for him.
The original three films are considered one of the greatest film trilogies of all time sitting alongside the likes of the original Star Wars trilogy and The Lord Of The Rings trilogy.
Hence there are high hopes for the new movie and judging by the trailers Pixar wont be disappointing us.
The BBFC have given the film a U age rating for very mild violence, scary scenes and it has an official run time of 100 minutes (1 hour 40 minutes).
