The current series of Marvel Cinematic Universe films comes to and end with the hotly anticipated Avengers: Endgame which is released in the UK on 25th April 2019.

The film follows in from the Thanos 'snap' that ended the previous film and killed a half of all living things.

The BBFC have given the film a 12A rating in the UK for moderate violence and it has a runtime of 181 minutes (a bum numbing 3 hours and 1 minute).

Mission:Impossible Fallout goes back to the top of the global box office after its release in China while Crazy Rich Asians is snapping at its heals.

The film is fast becoming the top grossing film in the series and this week adds $96.1 million (from 66 countries) to its global gross which now sits at an incredible $647 million after 6 weeks of release.

The top grossing film in the series to date is Mission:Impossible Rogue Nation with $682.3 million so Fallout is within $40,000 of its total.

Crazy Rich Asians leaps to number 2 this week with $32.6 million from just 25 countries which brings the films total to $130.8 million.

At 3 is The Meg which takes $28.7 million from 67 countries whih brings the film to an incredible $462.8 million.

Last weeks top film falls to 4 this week with Ant-Man And The Wasp taking $17 million with a global gross now at $485.2 million, the Marvel movie would pass $500 million by next weekend.

Finally in the top 5 is Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation which takes $13.8 million over the week, the films global gross now sits at $485.2 million.

As a cold snap hits Britain and threatens to stop everyone from going to the cinema Les Misérables holds it's place at number one without much threat from the only new release.

Les Misérables dropped almost 50% from it's debut weekend gross but still managed £4.4 million bringing it's total gross after 10 days of release to £17.3 million.

The new film from cult director Quentin Tarantino, starring Jammie Foxx, gives a decent performence on it's debut weekend and grosses £2.8 million, not Tarentino's best, that honor goes to Inglourious Basterds in 2009.

This time last year War Horse was still riding high at the top with a weekend gross of £3,202,493, while Haywire from director Steven Soderbergh was new at 2 with £1,197,866.

Five years ago the Oscar nominated film No Country For Old Men was beaten to the top spot by Aliens Vs Predator Requiem which grossed £1,970,363 on it's debut.

Ten years ago the second Lord of the Rings film ended it's 4 week run at the top, giving way to Eminem in 8 Mile which debuted with £4,440,334.

Fifteen years ago The Devils Advocate starring Keanu Reeves and Al Pacino debuted at the top with £1,300,733.

Not long to go now before the new Harry Potter and the Half Blood prince hits cinemas and today MSN have an exclusive one a number of character poster.

All the main characters have their poser posters present and correct from Harry himself, though Dumbledore to Snape.

The sixth film in the series it has ben delayed from a Christmas 2008 release to a summer 2009 release, so Warner have had plenty of time to get this film right which is out on 17th July.
