Highest new movie this weekend
Director John Krasinski brings us his sequel to 2018s A Quiet Place and despite the long wait for the movie it dominates this weeks global box office.
The movie stars Krasinski real life wife Emily Blunt and has been hit by positive reviews and good global box office figures for a pandemic Hollywood movie.
Also making a big impact is Disney's Cruella which makes its debut at 2 while The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It makes a new appearance at 10 with a release in a few countries.

Global box office top 5 analisys 28th - 20th May 2021.
Taking over at the top of the global box office on its debut is the John Krasinski directed sequel movie which is released on 6 countries this weekend.
The movies takes a debut gross of $70.3 Million which is very good for a Hollywood movie during this pandemic era, and a sign that the box office is starting to return to normal.
Disney release their long awaited Cruella De'vil origins movie to the world and despite it being released on Disney+ Premium as well it enters the global box office at number 2 from 30 countries.
The debut gross of the movie is 37.4 Million which is reasonable but could have been higher had it not been for A Quiet Place Part II at number 1.
The lastest Fast movie falls from the top to number 3 this week altohugh it is only playing in 8 countries with North America, Europe and Australia still to come.
This weekend the movie took $30.8 Million, an 81% drop from last weekend, which takes it to $229 Million global gross, it is now the fourth top global movie of 2021.
Jumping back into the top 5 is the Japanese animated movie which is at number 4 this weekend with $16.4 Million, a 99% increase from last weekend.
The movie has been on the box office for 17 weeks now and has taken $47.8 Million.
The Chinese love story falls to number 5 this weekend with $5.1 Million, a 65% drop, giving the movie a total gross of $41.8 Million after 2 weeks.
The much delayed Fast & Furios 9 made its debut in China this weekend and not only topped the box office there but was the biggest film of the weekend globally.
Also making a very strong first weekend on the box office is Love Will Tear Us Apart which makes its debut at number 2 this week.

Global box office top 5 breakdown 21st - 23rd May 2021
As with most movies at the moment this is over a year late coming to cinemas, but as expected the latest episode in the Fast series makes a fantastic debut.
The movie takes a very impressive $162.3 Million over its debut weekend from just 8 countries.
Also making its debut on the global box office is Chinese director Mo Sha's latest movie which takes $14.8 Million over the weekend from just 1 country.
The movie got a mid week release and has taken $30.3 Million since its debut.
As cinemas start to open the sequel movie to Peter Rabbit has gone into more and countries and hence has been around for 9 weeks.
This week the movie is at 3 with $8.4 Million from 11 countries, a 70% increase from last weekend, and it has taken a global total of $30.2 Million.
The horror franchise movie has been on the global box office for 2 weeks now and falls to 4 with $7.2 Million from 22 countries, down 40% from last weekend.
To date the movie has taken $22.5 Million globally.
Falling to number 2 this week is Guy Ritchies latest movie which takes $6.3 Million this weekend from 30 countries, 60% down, for a $65.7 Million total from 5 weeks.
After 4 weeks of release Once Upon A Time ... In Hollywood hits the top of the global box office as it expands its territory count wile The Angry Birds Movie 2 makes its debut inside the top 5.

Expanding its territory count from 1 country to 47 the Tarantino hit movie takes $61.3 Million over the global weekend at the box office.
This pushes the film total global gross to $180.5 Million after 4 weeks of release and the film is on course to become the directors highest grossing film to date.
Falling from the top to number 2 this week the Fast and Furious franchise film takes $59.8 Million from 68 territories pushing its 3 week total to $437 Million.
Disneys mega smash has gone well over the Billion mark and on its 6th weekend of release it takes $45.7 Million from 55 territories.
The Jon Favreau directed movie has now taken a whopping $1.4 Billion at the global box office.
The Chinese animates smash takes $39.4 Million this weekend from its single country of release for a $594.3 Million after 4 weeks on the box office.
The Angry Birds sequel hits the global box office top 5 at number 5 this weekend with a gross of $29.9 Million from 30 countries.
The films total gross has reached $46.4 Million including previews.
The Pixar animated sequel passes the Billion milestone this week on its 9th weekend of release, it has takes $1.02 Billion.
Fantastic Beasts 2 is still doing well at the box office, especially outside the US, but Disney's Ralph Breaks The Internet was too strong this week and (just) tops the global box office.
Expanding to 28 countries this week the Disney property takes $59.4 million globally for the weekend which boosts its total global cume to $206.9 million after 2 weeks.
There are still a lot of countries to open in so expect this to hand around for much of Christmas and into the new year.

The film is behind the first movie of the series in the UK but slightly ahead in the rest of the world.
The Bryan Singer directed movie has done far better than expected across the globe and this week passes a new milestone of passing the half billion mark.
The film takes an excellent $45 million over the weekend from 73 countries to push ots total global take to $539.5 million.
The Dr Seuss animation drops to 4 this week with $44.8 million from 55 countries, this bbosts the films global gross to $268.3 million.
The boxing sequel expands to 30 countries this week and takes $26.8 million to boost its total gross to $92.5 million, it will pass $100 million by next weekend.
