No. 1 movie: - Spectre which had been at the top for 3 weeks and with a total gross of £77.6 Million it was also the top total grossing film.
Highest Debut: - The Lady In The Van directed by Nicholas Hytner and starring Maggie Smith and Alex Jennings which entered the box office at number 2.
Longest run: - The Martian which had been on the box office for 7 weeks.

Longest run: - The Social Network which had been on the box office for 6 weeks.
Top total grossing: - Despicable Me which had taken £19.1 Million after 6 weeks of release.

Longest run: - Kinky Boots which had been on the box office for 6 weeks.
Top total grossing: - Wallace & Gromit: The Curse Of The Were-Rabbit which had taken £31.2 Million after 6 weeks of release.
No.1 movie: - What Lies Beneath which had been at the top for 3 weeks.
Highest debut: - Little Nicky directed by Steven Brill and starring Adam Sandler and Patricia Arquette which entered the box office at number 3.
Top total grossing and longest run: - Billy Elliot which had taken £14.9 Million over 8 weeks of release.
No.1 movie: - To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything! Julie Newmar which had been at the top for 2 weeks.
Highest debut: - A Walk In The Clouds directed by Alfonso Arau and starring Keanu Reeves and Aitana Sanchez-Gijon which entered the box office at number 2.
Top total grossing and longest run: - Batman Forever which had taken £21.4 Million over 18 weeks of release.
No. 1 and highest debut: - Darkman starring Liam Neeson and Frances McDormand and directed by Sam Raimi
Longest run: - Die Hard 2: Die Harder which had been on the box office for 12 weeks.
Top total grossing: - Ghost which had taken £22.9 Million after 7 weeks of release.
There is no stopping 1917 at the current box office as the movie reamins at the top of the UK box office with a massive margin again leaving the Bad Boys to spend a second weekend at number 2 while The Personal History Of David Copperfield is the top new film at number 3.
Sam Mandes war drama remains at the top of the UK box office for a third weekend with another massive gross of £4.5 Million.
This gives the film a total UK gross of £26.3 Million making it by far the top grossing film so far in 2020.
And just for the record it is now the top grossing film in the UK for Sam Mendes that isn't a Bond movie, and the film wont get anywhere near the total gross of those two films.
Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have to settle for second place again this week as the movie takes £2.7 Million over the weekend.
This brings the sequel movie's total UK gross to £8.2 Million after 2 weeks of release.
Highest new film of the weekend with a UK debut gross of £1.5 Million.
The film stars Dev Patel, Peter Capaldi and Hugh Laurie who are long term favourite actors in the UK and the film could hang around for some time to come.
The Oscar nominated movie directed by Greta Gerwig is at number 4 this weekend with a gross of £1 Million.
This gives the Saoirse Ronan and Emma Watson starring movie a total gross of £18.4 Million after 5 weeks of release.
The sequel movie makes just under a million pound this weekend to give the film a toal UK gros of £33.5 Million over 7 weeks of release.
The highest total grossing movie of the week for the Star Wars sequel movie as its gross grows to £57.3 Million after 6 weeks of release.
Disney's sequel movie has the longest run on this weeks box office as the film spends a 10th weekend on the box office.
Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker remains at the top for another weekend while the highest new film of the weekend is the 2020 remake of The Grudge at number 4.
Remaining at the top of the US box office is the JJ Abrams saga film Star Wars movie which takes $33.7 Million on its 3rd weekend of release.
This pushes the films total US box office take to $450.7 Million, an excellent take but the lowest of the sequel trilogy movies to date.
The Jake Kasdan directed trilogy movie is at number 2 this weekend with a take of $26.5 Million.
The film total US take of $236.2 Million after 4 weeks of release, this is far lower than the previous film and the film will most likely not reach the heights of that film.
The Saoirse Ronan and Emma Watson starring retelling of the classic novel is at number 3 this weekend with $13.5 Million pushing its total to $60 Million after 2 weeks.
A new year and a new remake as the Japanese horror classic gets its second Hollywood treatment.
The film makes its US debut with $11.3 Million and sites at number 4 on its debut.
The smash hit sequel movie is at number 5 this week with a weekend gross of $11.2 Million and a total gross of $449.8 Million after 7 weeks of release.
The Chinese award winning movie is the longest running film on the US box office this week with 13 weeks in total, it has a US gross of $23.9 Million.
Last week saw Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker at the top of the UK box office, can any of this weeks new releases do enough to top the chart this weekend?
First up at cinemas this week is Little Women, a Dramatic movie directed by Greta Gerwig who also directed Lady Bird in 2018 which grossed £5.1 Million in the UK.
It stars Saoirse Ronan who last starred in Mary Queen Of Scots (2019).
The film also stars Emma Watson who last appeared in Beauty And The Beast (2017).
Next on this weeks new release schedule is Spies In Disguise.
This new movie stars Will Smith who's last film was Gemini Man (2019)
It also stars Tom Holland who appeared in The Current War (2019).
The film is brought to us by new director Nick Bruno and Troy Quane.
Next up this week is Playing With Fire which is directed by Andy Fickman who directed Parental Guidance in 2012.
It stars John Cena and Keegan-Michael Key.

A new adaptation of the classic novel Little Women hits UK cinemas in December and the BBFC have given the movie a U age rating.
The movie is directed by Greta Gerwig and stars among a stellar line up Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh and Meryl Streep.
The film has a release date in the UK of December 26 while the US release is a day earlier on 25th December.
The BBFC have given the film a U rating for very mild threat and it has an official runtime of 134 minutes (2 hours and 14 minutes), the movie was passed uncut.
